What are the benefits of Alamo Quicksilvr?

I don't understand the benefits of this program if you use a coupon - are there any??? (Since I can't bypass the line and go right to the car)

Our flight gets in on a Friday night (May) at around 11:15 - I can't imagine the line would be too long then anyway. In the past we have alway used National (Emerald Aisle) and loved it, I just can't justify $50 more for (maybe) an intermediate (maybe better, depending on what is on the aisle) compared to the full sized SUV at Alamo. I signed up for Quicksilvr, but now think maybe it was a waste to sign up since there doesn't appear to be any benefit for me.

Thanks!

Alamo *********** is a joke. Now Hertz #1 club gold is another story. Get the bus, get droped off first and your name is up on the board with your parking spot. Get in your car, show your driver license and you are gone. It adds a full hour to your vacation. I swear by them.

If your willing to spend $50 for membership fee's and have to go offsite to get your car ;) National Emerald Club is still the best!!

Actually, the first time i used Alamo I had an internet coupon code and a QS reservation. There was no line inside th termial, so I asked, and redirected to the desk out in the parking structure where I simply presented my paperwork, including a printout of the coupon, and was on my way very fast. Not quite as quickly at Emerald Aisle, but certainly worth the 5 minute delay to save the $100 on Alamo vs. National. Car return was exactly the same as National, same place, same system. I was very pleasantly surprised. This was in early December, not a "peak" time for regular Disney resorts, but a very busy time for DVC resorts.

I spent the $50 one time and that fee has been waived for the last three years. So 4 years worth of Gold service has cost me $50. That $50 has been well spent IMO. The shuttle isn't a big deal and I believe the Hertz location is closer to WDW anyway. I get my luggage, take the elevator down, walk outside and get on the Hertz luxury bus. Get droped off, read the board for my parking spot, get in my car and leave. Not trying to dispute anyone here, I'm just letting others know how great the Hertz program has been for us. When I leave the airport I am at WDW in around 35 minutes. Not sure how you could do much better than that? :confused3 Top notch cars and service as well. #1 Club Gold memebers get all brand new vehicles.

I agree its a great program. Its better then the EA if you plan on going to smaller airports, because that program is available at 100+ airports around the country (where as EA is at 40 airports). I signed up for Budget Fastbreak for an upcoming trip to California, and they have a "Fastbreak Choice" service that is just like Hertz #1 Club Gold Service....
