I am just wondering what are the average wait times at Big River Grille and Brewing Works when going there for dinner, because I know they don't accept ADR's? Also since they are on the Dining Plan how much an effect would Free Dining have there, because should we choose to eat there it will be during the Free Dining period.

I am bummpingpopcorn::, we are going for the frist time this July:cool1:, love to know this Info:goodvibes

Jumpon also. Was surprised when making reservations I couldn't do so for these.

We usually visit the World in January. We always eat at Big River on the night we check in and we have never had a wait at all. We try to sign in around 6:00, though. We have young children and are afraid of a wait if we arrive later. It seems to be pretty crowded by the time we finish our meal. If you can't tolerate a wait, I would arrive at 6:00 or earlier.

Look at the menu on the Dis website. Decide then if you should use your table service credit there or save it for a pricier restaurant. Burgers and sandwiches (pretty tasty) are reasonably priced there. I don't think I would use a credit for those items. Their more expensive entrees like meatloaf (very good) and pastas (not very good) would more likely justify use of a TS credit. Enjoy and don't forget to try the Rocket Red Ale if you are a beer drinker! I don't usually like red beers but theirs is pretty good.

Thanks for your reply, however since we didn't purchase the Free Dining Plan we won't have any table service credits.

You can make reservations, i did the other day for late june. you must call them directly.

They're not a Disney restaurant and they don't use the Disney reservation system. When you call them directly it is possible they will tell you you don't need reservations. We had more than one poster who was told that.

You're missing the point. You asked if free dining will have an impact. Look at the posts. Many ddp customers (free and paid) like to "max" out their plan by dining at expensive restaurants. Those guests are less likely to dine at the Big River Grille. Same logic applies to Beaches and Cream.

Thank you for that information.

When you call them, you are not really getting a reservation for a specific time so to speak. I forget the term....but you are not going to have a reserved table. You give them the time you expect to arrive and if there is a crowd of people waiting to get in and say you are a party of 2, they will fit you in before another party of 2 that may have arrived before you. We did this once.

We just returned from a trip last week. We ate there last Sunday evening around 6pm. We sat outside and really enjoyed our meal. We were a party of 5 adults and 3 little guys. We were seated pretty much right away at 2 tables next to each other. I enjoyed the beer soup and salad, others had the kobe beef cheeseburger, the hazelnut chicken, caesar salad. Kids ate grilled cheese and PBJ. DH enjoyed the red rocket beer. Everyone was happy with their meal. Our BWV BW view room was right above the the Grille!
