A Vegan diet means I don't eat any animal foods such as meat, seafood, dairy, milk, cheese, honey, eggs ect. > Anyways I am staying at AllStarsMovies but when I go to the parks I spend most of my time at the Magic Kingdom so I was thinking during my 9 day DisneyWorld Birthday Vacation I might head over to Contemporary and eat at their food court ( since its so close lol )

First of all I think I might have heard that they have more than one food court ? Second what are some Vegan food choices that they have ? I might need to call them to find out but wanted to post it here to see if I can get some good ideas :) Thank you :)

Just because it isn't listed on their menu, doesn't mean they don't have it.

When I stayed at the Contemporary, I asked for soy/rice milk every morning and they always had some available for me, although it was never listed as an option.

Another example...the water parks have veggie burgers at the snack stands, but they aren't listed on the menu for whatever reason. :confused3

In other words, it never hurts to ask.

FYI...the Contemporary does not have a food court...none of the deluxe resorts do....the CR just has a counterservice place on the first level....really just a burger and fries type joint....I think the vegan options would be quite limited....probably just a few pre-made salads....I do not think it would really be worth the trip for you.

Hi! I am a vegan too and have been researching endlessly for options! I found this website which has the best list of options in the parks and resorts

I can't post a URL because I am a new user but check out the veg*n dining guide at Allears.net

It also seems that you as long as you request a meal 48 hours in advance most table service restaurants are able to make something.

I have actually heard great reviews from people that had vegan meals made for them (including desserts with soy delicious ice cream...yum!!)

As far as the Contemporary food court...I vaguely remember eating there on our last trip (after working up an appetite at Sammy Duval's lol!) and I think I had a salad and french fries....mmmm  ....hahaha

Here are some options while in the Magic Kingdom -
El Pirata y el Perico
**Taco Salad (ordered w/out meat, cheese and sour cream)
** Nachos (ordered
w/out chili, cheese and sour cream)
Churros do contain dairy.

Pecos Bill's
Kit Carson veggie salad (jicama slaw, lettuce, vegetables and cheese in a lime vinaigrette) - Request without cheese. This is an excellent, filling salad with a great dressing - not at all what you'd expect from a hamburger place.
Columbia Harbour House

** Vegetarian Chili served in a bread bowl (not sure if bread is vegan - could requested without bowl.
** Garden Galley Salad (ordered w/out chicken and cheese)

Pinocchio's Village Haus
** Stromboli’s Chicken Garden Salad (ordered w/out chicken and cheese)

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café
** Country Vegetable Soup
** Earthly Delights Vegetarian Burger (standard vegan Boca burger (not sure about bun)

HTH!

If you find out any interesting tidbits, I would love to hear!
