What are some things you do NOT like about your FAVORITE resort?

You often see people praise their favorite resort. I’m curious what everyone does NOT like about their favorite DVC resort? Not others. Only your favorite. We get that there are many things you love about it but that point of this thread is sharing what you do not like.

Our favorite is the Poly, but more specifically the Tower rooms.

I do not like:
The way the lights work in the Tower rooms
Transportation to Epcot if you are in the Tower
If you are at the ends of the Tower then you will have a very long walk every single time you leave for anything.

Beach Club Villas - I wish there were better views as I'm a "balcony person." Also wish the QS situation was better.

I like this thread. Between my DH, DD and I we have 3 favorites so I will answer for each of us it that is okay.

My favortie-VGF OG building;
1. I do not like how far it is from Gaspy's. Especially when we do the resort refillable mug. We love the freestyle machines so the walk is a lot.
2. I don't love how the monorail works for the resort line. Being the last stop before MK many times the monorail is full.

DD's favorite- Poly Tower,
1. Distance to the monorail station.
2. Miss the gaslit tiki torches the rest of the resort has,
3. Need more seating for Capt Cook's or another quick service.
4. Wish the freestyle coke machines were inside.

DH's favorite-CCV
1. Size of the rooms, I know they were room conversions but the studio is too small for my family of 3.
2. Roaring Forks needs more options.

For all 3 resorts we all agree the boat dock is way to far away from the DVC rooms.

Balcony lights on the hotel side kept me from sleeping for almost three days on my first trip. Finally got a sleep mask from Target via delivery and my trip improved immensely. I didn’t notice the same issue at BCV but suspect only certain rooms have this problem?

Boy do I agree with this! BCV is my favorite But...I also wish the QS was better. And the coffee cups in the studios not being real china, but cardboard, some having a styrofoam coating irks me. I've taken to bringing a "real" one with me, either one that I'm sick of or a cheap one from Dollar Tree, then leaving it there at the end of my vacation. So if you check in to a BCV studio and have one "real" coffee mug, you're welcome!

Re VGF, can you not refill the mugs at Beaches pool bar?

CCV - I wish the boat that goes to the Fort and the Contemporary started running earlier. I also wish we didn't have to share busses with the Contemporary and the Fort at times.

BWV - I wish they had a legitimate QS option. Heck, just do something with the vast wasteland that is the area down towards Atlantic Dancehall (and get rid of that too).

HHI - my aching knees wish more buildings had elevators.
