What are some recommendations for food along laguna beach? Can u walk the beach from 1000 steps to treasure breach?

So iam coming to California early May, decided to check out 1000 steps beach,but I want to keep walking the beach, to like Aliso and treasure beach etc, can It be done? I dont mind climbing rocks, it's fun to me, also food recommendations along the way? I see the Cliff and Ruby's Diner, any where else I should check out? Also doing venice beach from LAX, for a day as well, anythjng I should know or check out?

Ruby’s shake shack is just north of laguna on a cliff, a local can probably give the specifics, and it overlooks one of the houses that was in the original Beaches movie.
