Non park things you like to do at WDW?We love going to FW and doing the hay ride and sit on porch in rocking chairs at Trail's Inn.We also love to go to the different resorts during holidays and check out all the great holiday decorations.DW and I love to also love to just take a walk around DTD,OKW,FW.So what are some of your favorites? Thank You Danny :goodvibes :wave2:

My Dh would say "golf, golf, golf ..." :thumbsup2

I just enjoy whichever resort I'm at. I know that probably doesn't help you if you are trying to figure out non park things to do.

Last summer we really enjoyed renting the watermice and going to the campfire at Fort Wilderness.

We also really enjoyed having dinner at te Poly and then sitting on the beach or the dock to watch the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes from there.

Mini golf over at Winter Summerland and the carriage rides.

This is sort of a mix of park and non-park, but my DD's (8) two favorite things were collecting pressed coins and hunting Hidden Mickey's. This year we are going to WDW for Christmas and plan to visit as many resorts as we can to see the decorations. She has already asked if we can look for the pressed coins and Hidden Mickey's at each.

We are people watchers. We love to take our time in the parks and enjoy the little details. We like the rides, but there is so much more to WDW than the rides. Over time, we have enjoyed a wonderful carriage ride at FW at dusk that was very relaxing and romantic. We have had tea at the GF's Afternoon Tea and it was way more fun than I would have ever imagined. We have seen a pre-season Braves game at Cracker Jack Field at WWoS. We have seen La Nouba. We have shopped and dined our way around WDW. We have done Disney trading pin Pin Pursuits collecting special sets of pins by running all over WDW to the designated shops to collect all the pins and the stamps on our card, so that we can receive the final freebie pin. We have gone to the AMC theater at DTD and certainly we have enjoyed the Comedy Warehouse at PI. We have just taken boat rides just for the heck of it. We have ridden in the front car of the monorail. We have resort hopped to look at holiday decorations. We have collected lots of pressed pennies. Overall, we have barely scratched the surface of what WDW has to offer, but we are pleased with all the magic that we have been blessed to have experience thus far. Maggie

Let's see .., eating at non-park restaurants, shopping at Marketplace and West Side, partying at Pleasure Island, riding the boat and monorail, surrey bikes, sea raycers.

--ride the monorail circuit
--visit some of my favorite hotels and sit in the lobby and people watch
--shop in the above hotels' gift shops (although merchandise does repeat)
--sit on the balcony of my resort and just relax!!!!! :cloud9:
