What are some of your favorite park purchases?

My favorite souvenir from our trip last week is the caricature that my daughter and I had made in France in Epcot. It was pricey but so worth it.

Next in line are the four coffee mugs (Mickey, Minnie, Grouchy and Tink), cloth blanket (not one of the plush, fuzzy ones) and rain coat that I bought. I'm already using the mugs and blanket. Waiting on a rainy day for the rain coat.

Etched glass mugs from Liberty Tree Tavern - cheap and sturdy, use 'em almost every day.

Magnetic, clip-on plush Figment.

A blue Mickey fleece blanket with sleeves that's awesome to snuggle up into. I want a pillow pet to go with it, as childish as it sounds.

We always buy a Christmas ornament when we go, but my favorite buy is two bowls one of Mickey and the other of Minnie. Everytime I use them, I smile.

I have to laugh about those blankets with arms. We had a few cold nights on our Thanksgiving trip and saw quite a few people walking around with those belted on them, sort of like a robe. Strangely enough they were all of Asian heritage and we saw them at quite a few different places (not together). I found it a little strange, but hey, whatever works :thumbsup2

My favorite souvenirs from recent trips-
Orange Bird ceramic figure
Castle with Dreamlights throw (it was one of the "with purchase" buys a few years ago, love it although its a bit small)
Vintage Mickey/WDW throw (this years "with purchase" blanket)
Victorian Christmas Mickey and Minnie Statue (on top of our fireplace for holiday season)
Mickey and Minnie with Tickets Statue (on top of our fireplace the rest of the year)
$5 Christmas souvenir mug sold with hot chocolate (its like the resort refillable mugs except Christmas themed. I use those types of mugs to take coffee to work every day. What a steal!).

Anything from Memento Mori:hmghost:

I just took the plunge and bought that full size haunted mansion plaque. It looks just like the one at the entrance to the ride. I can't wait to hang that at home.

pins and ornaments...and my husband got a little trinket box thing for his desk at work that is one of the portraits from the stretching room. It is the "normal" picture as it sits, but when you open it, it "stretches" just like HM.

It's pretty fun :thumbsup2

I bought a sweatshirt blanket and pillow a number of years ago. Still one of my favorite purchases of all time.

Around 2000, Epcot sold a snow globe with the world showcase countries outlining as the globes base and inside is Spaceship earth. The Epcot Wand is on top of the glass. I am so glad I bought it and love it every time I see it (though my Dad has commandeered it for his own!).

From my most recent trip:

a Dole Whip car air freshener. AWESOME!
3 T-shirts - one is a Dole Whip shirt (sensing a theme here?) one is Darth Vader riding the carrousel, and the last one is a vintage looking Epcot 82 shirt.
3 Mickey shaped stud earrings, one pair in blue, one in pink and one in purple

Last trip we had a water park ticket (due to pool closure) so we went into blizzard beach to do some shopping (looking for a tshirt that said blizzard beach on it), my mom was going to get some mini donuts (she said they weren't bad but the chocolate sauce was a little dismal and very very sweet) and I wanted to look at the water park mugs.

I'm not a big fan of the peg shaped mugs and I don't actually drink much soda so not a fan of the resort mugs, but I really liked the look of the mug (straight column style with a handle but not super huge like those barrel shaped mugs or the super big gulp size).

I bought one and I love it. I use it to drink ice water around the house. So that was my favorite souvenir last trip. My other water glass is the Tervis Tumbler (with lid and straw) I bought from All Star Music back in 2009 and has been my favorite souvenir from WDW ever.

Disney seems to meet my water cup needs.

I also have a two key rings. One is a mickey head and the other is a Minnie head making up the round top of a 'key'. I use them on my everyday keys (mickey) and my spare set (Minnie). Those are a favorite but I haven't seen them at the shops in the last two trips.

Disney carries Tervis Tumbler designs?!?! I've never seen these! I need one!

They are kind of random. Mine is a large one with a patch of WDW/Mickeymouse inside. It was at the All Star Music gift shop in 2009.

A year or so ago someone talked about seeing them at the Poly in their gift shop with a tropical design but I don't remember what exactly.

Every so often a thread will start looking for them and people will come out with a few sightings here or there.

It seems to be hit or miss and it also seems to be a location thing. I have not seen them at any of the general shops (World of Disney, etc) lately.

However they did have some on the actual Tervis site last year around Christmas time, which is when the last thread I saw on them was active.

I didn't even know what a Tervis was and someone had a thread around Christmas a few years ago and I followed a link and I was like 'hey that looks like my water cup' I turned it over and sure enough it said Tervis on the bottom. LOL

Minnie Mouse patch which says FABULOUS. I always say fabulous so it was perfect for me.

A globe keychain in the shape of the Mickey Mouse head.

I have them both attached to an Avon purse with a glittery Mickey Mouse on it. Everytime I go to Disney, I use the purse and everytime, someone has asked me where I purchased it. They are surprised when I say AVON.

After we had been home about 2 weeks from our trip last January I was getting hit hard with the missing Disney blues and was already starting to talk about planning another trip. My wonderful DH surprised me with a Mickey hand coffee scooper which he had picked up on our trip cause he knew I would need cheering up when the trip was over.

I make the coffee every day with that scooper and I smile every time I do cause it reminds me of a wonderful trip with my extremely wonderful and thoughtful DH.

my very first trip I bought my must have.... a Mickey watch!!

I bought dinner plates and bowls with the Mickey parts around them at AK on my last trip. They are awesome!!

one more thing.... after getting home a number of years ago we found out the name of Dixie Landings was being changed to POR. So I called the merchandise line and got a pin and a polo shirt for Dixie Landings as a memento
