What are some of your favorite Disney songs?

When I was the head teacher of the baby room at a day care, I made a tape of Disney songs that I played all day long. It had most of the songs people have mentioned. I also like the theme songs for those Disney cartoons that came out in the early 90's. Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers, Tale Spin. :)

I do know that Cowboy Needs a Horse song too!

And of course, the POTC song. So many good ones, I don't have just one favorite. Love NBC song What's This?

and i dont know what they're called..but most of the songs from A GOOFY MOVIE:lmao:

OOOH, I :lovestruc A Goofy Movie!!!!! The music is soo good! I like the song that Max sings when he's pretending to be that famous kid.. :rotfl: Oh man, that movie makes me think of when I was a kid.

From the loop played on Main Street.....Put On Your Sunday Clothes! This is originally from Hello Dolly and made a brief appearance in WALL-E. I've searched high and dry for the instrumental only version but it just can't be found. The tempo is a bit fast but this is the closest I've come so far.....

When we saw Wall-E in the movie theaters and the Hello, Dolly parts came on it instantly made me think of Main Street. I :lovestruc that little robot.

For me:

The entire broadway soundtrack from Beauty and the Beast
The ride loop from Splash Mountain
Remember, Dreams Come True Fireworks
Snow White "I'm Wishing"
All the music from Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mary Poppins
Mulan II "Lesson Number One"
Sleeping Beauty "Once Upon a Dream"

my all time favorite disney movie song is "once upon a dream" from sleeping beauty.

my other two favorites are both from tarzan, "you'll be in my heart", and "son of man"

There are so many songs I love. I have a bunch on my IPOD. Besides the ones you guys said, I really like the Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride, and the hula song in Lilo & Stitch, and the songs in Mulan, they seem so meaningful. Also, I like Little Town from Beauty & the Beast.

OOH YEAHH!!! I loved those songs!
"Stand Out" and "Eye2Eye" .... Those songs can really get stuck in your head!

I love the song, "How Does She Know" ( you love her) from Enchanted!!

LOL. I have that song on my Ipod (and "I've Been Dreaming...." and "Happy Working Song")

I found the Enchanted Giselle Bride doll at Ross for $9.99 a few months ago. Love that movie!

It's one of the best Disney movies, I think, since Beauty and the Beast!!

:lmao: I found her in the pink dress for $5.00 at Ross... I'll have to go back and keep my eyes peeled!

Some of the songs I love...but I love them all...oh its so hard to pick a few:

Beauty and the Beast
all the music from the Little Mermaid and Aladdin
Remember...Dreams Come True
Wishes and Spectromagic from WDW
Grim Grinning Ghosts
Music from the Lion King, especially Can you feel the love tonight (was my wedding first dance song)

I forgot to add: music from Enchanted, I love to sing those songs!

My favorite Disney songs are pretty much all the ones prior to the 1970s. For current music, I do like the soundtrack from "Enchanted." I also love the 6 CD set of Disneyland Park music that came out for the 50th anniversary. There's just something about Disney music that makes you feel so happy or sets the right mood! As an example, my DD was at a bridal salon this weekend with her bridesmaids picking out their dress. She found her dream wedding gown in the window of the store. She didn't want to try it on, though, because her DBF has not officially proposed yet (it will be a surprise at DLR in December!). They have their date chosen and when the sales clerk said it could be 6-12 months for dresses to arrive, she started to panic. To make a long story short, she decided to try on the dress. It was one of the most beautiful dresses I have ever seen and she looked like a princess in it (my bias isn't showing, is it?!) It looked like a Cinderella gown and as she was standing there all aglow, the instrumental version of "So This Is Love" came on and one of her bridesmaids pointed it out. Suffice it to say, we bought the dress! :cloud9:

This is really bad, but when Pochahontas first came out, I really liked the song "Savages" because it sounded cool. And I still think it sounds cool
I do love the whole score to Fantasmic and Remember Dreams Come True, but other than that, I really don't have a favorite. Some songs make me cry, and some are fun to sing to atm, but I like all the songs. Can't pick just one!

OOOH I love the song Heffalumps and Woozles from Winnie the Pooh! Every time I go on that ride I just have to sing along to it.

Yeah, I love that one too! But it gets stuck in my head even worse than the "It's A Small World" song whenever I hear it :rotfl:

When I was serving a mission for my church in Moscow, Russia, I distinctly remember buying an audio tape of highlights from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty ballet because I wanted the music from Once Upon a Dream, and I was pretty sure that The Sleeping Beauty Waltz was the same music. I believe that Disney's use of Russian classical music in Sleeping Beauty, Fantasia, and Peter and the Wolf gave me an appreciation of Russian culture years before I lived among the Russian people.

I also love When You Wish Upon A Star, and both versions of Can You Feel The Love Tonight, with special affinity for Timon and Pumbaa's disaster filled lyrics.
