We will be making our first visits to BWV this June was wondering if there are some rooms that are better than others or thery are all laid out and furnished the same. We have a studio reserved. Thanks

They are all laid out the same except some have a small daybed. For standard view, we request top floor across from the bus stop, you get a great view of Illuminations.

We were there over Labor Day. I requested a studio near the elevator and we had standard view.
Well, our room #2072 was lobby level, like 4 doors from the elevators. Imagine my delight when I saw we overlooked the pool! Ok, not the pool, but the back of Leaping Horse Libations, the pool bar. It was just fine and I was happy the balcony didn't overlook a parking lot!

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/boardwalk.pdf Asking for a specific room and getting it is slim but this may help you know if the room assigned at check-in will meet your needs. This will give you an idea of “sectional views”.

The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Good luck
Sandy

P.S. You may want to look at it now but check back closer to one you leave, I update it at least monthly with member reports I receive.

Sandy, great job with that room report.
Next time checking in at BWV I will have it with me and check off the ones they have available, and pick the best location.

Thanks for compiling it. Maybe we can get one for the rest of the resorts????

Regards. Rich

Thanks Rich, glad it helps.

I actually have three reports going.

The reports really rely on the input of people on this board or members I accust ;) in the hall on my trips. I figured out I would have to live at Disney for 3 1/2 years switching rooms nightly to compile all the info myself:p If only I didn't have to work and was a mega point owner;)

Happy travels,
Sandy

We stayed in standard studio#4081 last Christmas and enjoyed it just fine. It was pretty close to the elevator, overlooked the front entrance (great people watching!), and we could see the high fireworks from Illuminations.

Going back to BWV this Christmas, but in a standard 2BR this time.

Thanks, Sandy, for the awesome room reports! Did I tell enough about #4081 for you to add it to the list, or do you need more information? I think it's great that you provide the list for your fellow DVC members!
