Hello everyone :wave2:
We are very excited that in just 2 days we will be checking in AKL for our Disney Wedding Celebration! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
We live in Orlando and go to the parks almost every week to play, but it has been a while since we stayed for a whole week and the first time we will be doing the deluxe dining plan. My question is what are some good non sweet snacks? Every time we have had the DP we always seem to use it on a drink or a dessert. Only once did I use it for a side of fries:confused:
What are some good "food" type snacks? I would like to use our snacks on something other than bottles of water. We will be doing the parks after the wedding and will also be going to Downtown Disney, so all suggestions from all locations will be very appreciated! :cheer2:
Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

They have non-sweet snacks at Disney???:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Seriously, though, we've gotten a bowl of cut up fruit, whole fruit, and veggies and dip. I think they are available at all the parks as well as the resort food courts. There is always popcorn or a pretzel too.

My favorite is a big pretzel. I think they are available at all locations (Wetzel's Pretzels at DTD, Germany in Epcot).

Congratulations on your wedding!! :goodvibes We are getting married at the Swan in December & I can't wait!

I'm a pretzel girl, so I would suggest getting a pretzel from Epcot Germany or a jalapeño cheese pretzel from Animal Kingdom. Both are fantastic! I also remember getting a nice cheese plate and yummy hummus from Mara in their prepared foods section in the fridge last time we stayed at AKL.

Congratulations!!

And I agree with the pretzel from Sommerfest. Yum! My son loves to get a giant pickle from Liberty Square Market. We usually use our credits for fast breakfasts in the morning at Main Street Bakery or Kona Island Cafe Coffee Bar.

I love Disney's popcorn!!! Maybe it is because I am eating it there but it is always nice and fresh! I also enjoy the jalapeno pretzel.

I'm not big on Pretzels, but I will give these a try and I have always been curious about their egg rolls. Yey. Thanks for all the tips. Keep em coming if theirs anything else you can think of :thumbsup2

France has some of the best snacks! The pizza they have is worth using a snack. Plus, if you're willing to try the sweets, they have some delicious pastries.

My absolute favorite WDW snack is the roasted red pepper hummus w/ pita chips from Mara in AKL! (It's the same hummus from Boma's buffet.) They add feta cheese to the hummus to make it extra yummy!!!
