Hey everyone
we arrive at the dolphin on august 23rd and will be departing on the 28th to go on our 4 day wonder cruise and it is for two adults- so what is our best option and what are the best prices?
How much for a towncar? What is the cheapest price for a land/sea package from a towncar? $235 for fl tours is a bit over our budget :sad2:
How much for mears?
Any help or suggestions is appreciated- we just want to price out all our options!!

Disney Cruise Lines?

I'm told that DCL packages include transportation between port, airport, and resort including Swan and Dolphin. You are mixed in with Magical Express guests to other resorts.

For non-DCL cruises, Mears' airport transportation to and from WDW is about $17. one way, $29. round trip. NOt sure about towncars from Disney to the port.

I booked my land and sea package separately so how will it work? please help somebody and prices needed

From everything I've seen, going from MCO / WDW / Port Canaveral then to MCO is gonna cost ya over $200 for a towncar.
I'm not sure what Mears will charge you for something like that. My guess is pretty much what DCL would charge you for transfers which would be somewhere in the area of $59 roundtrip per person.

I would post on the Cruise boards. You will find alot of threads there about this very thing. I know that we just used Magic transportation to get us from the Amtrak station to WDW and were very pleased. They were reasonable & very helpful. You can email them at jeanette@magictransportation.com for a quote. From everything that I have seen posted if you have 4 or more people you will do better using a towncar service.

Not sure what the rental car prices are in August, but we rented a car for our Nov. land/sea and found this to be the most economical way to go. We found a deal on an Alamo for 129.99. There are four of us, didn't want to use ME service (time is worth money) also plan to fly SW.
I figured paying for transportions from airport to DW, from DW to port, and from port to Airport could cost us way more than having the rental and parking it in the port for 3 days at $10 a day.
We really enjoyed having our own car last time as we are early risers and can beat the bus to the EM park before the busses.
In addition we want to be at the port early to maximize our first day on board (read that they sometimes board early).
Also figure that if our return flight is later in the afternoon we will have the car to poke around Cape Canaveral.
