what are our chances of getting a cancelation at cali grill in August??

Hi, we have had most of our ADR's booked for a good while, but have decided that we would like to change out last night (also our anniversary!!)
from the wave to california grill, I know this is a tough restaurant to get into and have checked today and their are absolutely no times,
what am i best doing, checking every day, twice a day or should I just accept that we aren't going to get one??

There's always a possibility. I definitely would keep trying every day - especially within 2 days of the 15th (there's a 2 day cancellation policy) so people. We currently have a reservation for August 7th that we're debating on whether to cancel. If we decide to cancel (and that would work for you) I can repost on this thread.

You never know. We got an 8pm Le Cellier adr last week at 4:18pm on the same day using the online booking on my iPhone! Thanks to the considerate person who cancelled instead of being a no-show. With the credit card hold at CG, I think that you'll be more likely to get a cancellation.
