We decided to do this planning late to celebrate our anniversary, making it through the first year of having a baby and DH's birthday.

Don't like to burst anybody's bubble, but I called for those same dates last week and there were no Studios available anywhere on property. For that matter none for the week before, either. The best Member Services could offer was a 1 bedroom at SSR or to use the points for a regular room at POFQ.

You could try waitlisting for a room. Also you might have a chance one week before since there is no wait list then.

It's less than 60 days out from the end of June, so points may have been released to CRO to sell as well.

we've been on a wait list since mid-FEB for a studio at either BWV, BCV or VWL for the week before this (6/19-6/25)........no luck yet.

no worries, though.....at worst we'll be checking out SS for the first time that week - with a second week in a 1BR at OKW to follow......the countdown's on!

We have been trying for the past 3 months to get into BWV, BCV or VWL the first weeks of June and have not had any luck. The only thing that has been available was OKW or SSR. We chose SSR because we have never stayed there. We are on waitlists for BWV, BCV and VWL but have little hope of the waitlist coming through. I have read on the resorts board that WDW resorts are booked at 92% capacity for the entire month of June. They have not yet released AP rates for June and it seems they won't since there is no need to. The free dining plan is really drawing the people in.

Sorry, what are the exact dates for the free dining program? I wasn't aware that it was offered in June. Hmmmmm................

No free dining in June. Only mid-August to end of Sept. That time of year when kids are going back to school and hurricanes are hitting FL and the Gulf Coast.

People just want to go to WDW when school is out.

Did not realize the free dining was not valid for certain parts of the year.
The 92% occupancy booking at the WDW resorts is unusually high for this time of year, especially for the first 2 weeks of June. Other than the southern states, most school districts get out for the summer the last weeks of June, not the first 2 weeks.
I can not say why the increase of visitors at WDW this June, but is is exceptionaly high this year.
We just keep our fingers crossed that one of our waitlists will come through; but if not we will get to experience a new DVC resort for our first time!!

We waitlisted for BCV for the week of June 19-24th as well, for a one bedroom and got it last week. I had been waiting since February too. So don't lose hope!

Jillpie. did you wait list by night or be the week. I am not loosing hope, we only need a studio for the night of the 20th. we are really hoping our vero beach comes throught for the next two nights, but if not we will stay at ssp and will love it. have a great trip and enjoy.

I just put a confirmed reservation on the rental board. It still has to go through the approval process but have a confirmed ressie at BCV, 2BR for 6/25 checkin and 6/30 checkout that does not look good for me right now. Send PM if you are interested.
