What are my chances: Waitlist for May 30th...

Thanks to the posters on the Budget Board directing me to SWA prices dropping we are now getting to go to WDW this year! We weren't going to get to because DH couldn't take off work until July, and by then I'd be 30 weeks pregnant and didn't want to chance it--but now we got such great rates we're going to fly down Memorial Day weekend!!! Called MS today, though and had to waitlist the 30th. I'm wanting a studio, anywhere for those 4 nights. I got the other three nights at BWV, and waitlisted there for the 30th and asked to be put on the waitlist in case all 4 nights come open at BCV or WLV. I may call and try to book the AP rate at BWV studio for cash, just in case.

Anybody have any experience with a waitlist for a holiday weekend? We really didn't want a one bedroom because it's just for a couple of days and the weekend points are a killer!

Did you consider OKW? It is usually easiest to clear.

I would think that if you are waitlisted of everyplace for one night you have a good shot.

OKW was booked, too, and the only ones she told me she had the other three was WLV and BWV, so I figured I'd go with the ones that had some availability. I guess some people are staying after the Member Celebration(or whatever it's called--pregnancy hormones are preventing me from remembering right now) and enjoying the long weekend! Don't blame 'em--just want to join 'em!

We were just called this week for our wait list for 4th of July weekend. It only took a week to get the call. I've always had good luck with the waitlist. Have faith! It will work out. If you don't hear anything, check in with MS every couple of weeks.
