What are my chances of riding expedition?

Hi,
We want to visit AK March 22nd and wanted to know what my chances are of riding this? I heard it does not officially open until April but I heard that it is open for several hours during the day? Any tips on how I could ride this? What times is it usually opened? I am sure it is very busy when it is opened...do they give preferential treatment if you are an AP or DVC member?

We were there last Thursday and it was open all day long . It even had fastpass going - seems to be pretty much operating as normal already.

It will probably be open every day, all day. I suggest you get there as early as possible.

Not because of the crowds, but that way you can ride it later via fastpass or the single rider line. You're going to want to go on twice.

We were in AK twice last week & it was open all day both days.

it all depends i guess.

when i went to animal kingdom last friday there was a sign when you went in saying that EE would be open at 2pm.

I got there at 2pm and was told that it wasn't running due to maintence - so i didn't get to ride it.

some people who i was talking to - the day after rode it - so it is the luck of the draw i guess.
