What are my chances of reserving a week at BCV for early February?

We just passed ROFR today so by the time we close on our BCV contract and we are in the DVC system it will be about a month from now. What is the likely hood that we would be able to get a week's reservation at a BCV studio for the first week of February?!? And if that is most likely impossible what about BWV and then WL???? Anybody try to make reservations there lately and have trouble for early February arrivals?

Congratulations on pasing ROFR and WELCOME HOME!

You really never know about availability until you call to make the reservation, so of course, I'm just gusssing, LOL.

I think your chances of getting a week in a DVC resort on site for that first week in February are good. The first week of February is among the easier times to book DVC and you should be able to book before the 60 day mark - that's when any unreserved DVC inventory is "shared" with CRO/WDWTC. At that point, the general public will be competing for any unreserved rooms, so plan to call the minute you get into the system.

The chances of getting BCV & VWL are less than those of getting the BWV. Doubt you could get a standard view or Boardwalk view at BWV, but a Pool/Garden preferred view studio should be available. OKW & SSR (because they are larger) will probably have the most availability left and are good back ups for you for this first trip.

The good news is that even if you don't get into your home resort for this trip, you will be able to stay there in the future. I've not heard of anyone getting shut out of the BCV when they book at 11 months - no matter what time of the year they plan to visit.
