Hey everyone!

I really want to rent a BLT studio mid-week in September for one of the Tuesday MNSSHP nights plus an extra Mon or Weds night. I know F+W will likely happen at Epcot around Sept. 19th like this year, so I'm assuming I can't get anything after that, but I emailed a DVC rental outfit about the first half of the month since it's usually so slow in Sept.

They said they had nothing for now but that they would check back in at the 7 month mark in February. Do you think I have any chances of getting a BLT studio then?

THANKS!:goodvibes

You might have problems getting a standard view as they are becoming very popular with BLT owners, but you should be able to get a lake view studio at the 7 month mark. Good luck.

I agree with Denise. A Lake View should be available as that view category make up approx. 70% of all BLT rooms.

There is also a chance of getting a view of the Magic Kingdom from a BLT Lake View Villa. If you have the owner you rent from put in a location request of 'Even Numbered Room, North End of Tower'.

BLT is shaped like the letter C. The even numbered rooms are on the outside of the C, with the MK at the top (North) portion of the C.

Last three years, BLT lake view studios were open at 7 months out in Sep through the third week. Standard views were missing multiple nights per week. Theme Park view was hit or miss, missing a night here and there, and when open it filled quickly after the 7 month window opened for a day in the morning.

I assume you understood when your rental broker said there was nothing available now, he was referring to the fact that the broker had no BLT points to rent and not to whether rooms were available (which they are). You may want to try another broker or the rent trade board on this site.
