What are my chances of get BWV St Studio May 28 - June 2??

It's my home resort. Friday, May 28 leaving Wednesday, June 2.

How busy is that timeframe?

I will call tomorrow at 9:00a but wanted a heads up on how popular and busy this timeframe is??

2 of the nights will be weekend nights; does that help in my chances??

My second choice was Spring Break the end of April but airfare is rediculous!

It's your home resort, 10 months out, so you should be fine. I think that's Memorial Day weekend but again, since it's your home resort and so many months out, what you want should be available. I don't think it gets very busy until mid-June -- most schools are still in session.

Still, we'd call first thing in the morning, too!

This is spur of the moment! We usually go in December or October and I'm on a waitlist for this December for 2 nights and I only called 1 week after the 11 month window opened up!! So with that experience, I'm a bit worried.

Man, those AP's and DVC make you want to plan more trips than you should; it's dangerous!!

Oh boy! I got so excited when I thought of this spur of the moment trip that I completely forgot it was Friday!!! Silly me!

Now I'm debating between May 28 thru June 2 (my DD 7 birthday!) and the last week in August...

What do you all think? Which would be a better time to visit crowd-wise and heat-wise??

Having AP's for the first time and adding on 100 points is dangerous;!!!

The crowds will probably be a bit lighter the last week of August because some kids will be back in school. However, the temps should be full blast furnace by then.

Your dates in May will be over the Memorial Day Weekend if that makes any difference to you.

Yeah, I knew my dates were over that weekend and that was the main reason I picked it...my kids would only mis 2 days of school.

I'm am now leaning more toward August. Now I have to figure out when I get to call for the end of August!!

I don't think you'll have any problems as I just got a 2br for 4 nights at my home resort-bcv- last week. I e-mailed my request last Sun and heard back on Tues

Here's another positive experience. I called for the coveted second week in December. At 10 1/2 months I booked at my home resort, BCV. At that time all the SV studios at BWV were already booked (CM was nice enough to check for my curiosity). However, when I called at 7 months to try to switch over to a SV studio at BWV, figuring I'd for sure be wait listed-just hoping not too long, one was available. BWV SV studio at 7 months for early December-what a wonderful surprise!!

You should have no problem getting a unit. Being weekend points costs does increase your chances and your costs. You may still have problems if you are wanting standard view though. Good luck.
