What are my chances for THV at 7 months...

...for the beginning of August '10? We own at AKV, and I thought I should probably book a 2 BR there, and then switch it out at 7 months. We're planning on staying 5 or 6 nights, starting on a Friday or Saturday. Are people calling at 7 months and finding availability at THV? I know it depends on time of year, and they're new, so there's not a lot of history available. Thanks!

You just never know. I tried booking one at 11 months and was unsuccessful but don't let that stop you. People cancel plans all the time.

That would be a great idea. Better to be safe than sorry. I went ahead and booked a dedicated 2BR for our stay and went on the waiting list for a THV but I might cancel our waitlist as there are only 5 of us, 2 teenage girls, and a preteen boy. They don't mind sharing a room so we'll still have the living room open for lounging around. If there was an extra bathroom involved, I would go for it but the convenience of a Grandstand location for me thumps THV location. I will attempt to switch to BLT at 7 months though for the location convenience and the extra bathroom but if I don't get it, no sweat, we'd still be happy at SSR.
