What Are Gas Prices Where You Are?

More. It was $3.69, up from $3.59 earlier in the day. If I'd waited 10 minutes, it would probably have gone up again. Sigh - it was "down" to $3.29 last week.

And I'll second the comment on the Alaska price - :scared1:

south of Green Bay I am seeing 3.96- 3.99- saw a station at 3.86- pulled in and filled up.

$3.79 in scattered parts of Nassau county, Long Island. Though you don't have to look too hard to find it well over $4.00 either.

I live north of Knoxville too and I agree with the OP. I think everyone in Knoxville went a little crazy Friday. There were lines everywhere. We are always below the national average but today we are way above.

Thank goodness they weren't predicting snow too :rotfl: OMG Knoxville would be out of milk, bread and toilet paper too.

To be out of gas, milk, bread and TP would be just to much! :rotfl: After seeing the other prices here I think we need to revolt in East Tennessee.

I paid $3.65 per gallon on Saturday. My husband saw it as high as $5.35 per gallon. We live in Thomasville, NC (near High Point, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem).

$3.49 in York, PA. Was down to 3.37 last week. But after looking at the other posts, I'm not going to complain about my price :rolleyes1

Last week is was $3.64 now this week it is up to $3.99- $4.10 in Central Wisconsin.

West Knoxville, down to $4.49 at several Pilots I passed today, the Weigel's didn't have prices up and still had bags over the regular handles at 4pm today

Well north of Knoxville most places are down to $3.99. There are still some that are over $4.00. And there's still alot of gas stations that are still "out" of gas.

On the news the past couple of days, it said that the State Att. General, or whoever does this, is, get this, looking into possible price gouging! Possible my foot! They basically told us to bend and take it!

AAA tracks gas prices all over; yet another member benefit. According to AAA, gas in my zip code (part of Newton, MA) averages $3.67 a gallon, while Uncleromulus in Glen Rock, PA might average $3.65, while SheenaXena21 and HappyDznyCamper in greater Knoxville might average $4.01. It can also help you find the cheapest posted price in your area, which I thought was cool.

Another cool thing they have, available to the general public too, is a tool to calculate fuel costs on a planned car trip. Here is the link:
http://www.fuelcostcalculator.com/

I am bringing a second hand wheelchair van back from the Atlanta area to Boston next week, so both of these tools should be handy.
