How many people are going? What are the ages? How long are you staying? Are you daredevils? Chickens? A little of both?

All Fireworks, parades at Mk,downtown Disney are just for starters since you haven't given us enough details...read read and read these boards for any and all info that you will need to use while there Oh, yes, don't forget to make ressies for any sit down meals...

This sounds silly...but if this is a first time trip, I'd say take your time and do not miss the overall atmosphere -- that Disney Magic. Too many folks rush around and totally miss the experience....that could be rides, talking to cast members, people watching, the whole thing.

OK....so if you are an old timer and have been there many times, then by all means go to DTD and do Characters In Flight. It's outstanding.

I agree it does depend on who is with you. My kids are teenagers and don't like most of the parades. They do like the one in Hollywood Studios.

Our favorites by each park are
Magic Kingdom - philairmagic, splash mountain, tea cups, jungle cruise, monsters inc laugh floor, peters pan flight, aladdin carpets(like dumbo but not nearly as long of line)
Epcot (Soarin, Test Track, Turtle talk with Crush, living with the land, Honey I shrunk the audience, spaceship earth

Hollywood Studios - Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Muppets 3-D, Rock and Roller Coaster, great movie ride, Beauty & the Beast, Fantasmic, Block Party Bash

Animal Kingdom - Safari, Flights of Wonder, Festival of Lion King, Kali river Rapids, Nemo the musical, expedition everest, its tought to be a bug

Places to eat - Le Cellier, Ohanas, crystal palace, 50's Prime Time, Sunshine Seasons and pizzafari
