I haven't been to Disney since 2011 which isn't a "long" time but so much has changed.

What apps should I definitely have on my phone and what do I use them for??

I have the Disney Parks Mobile Magic app.

I see people mentioning the Touring Plans app and a Lines app?? :confused3

Any help would be appreciated.

You should replace the Mobile Magic app with the My Disney Experience app (which is the new version of the official WDW app).

I like touringplans.com's lines app, too (but you have to have a subscription to get the wait times).

I also use the VersaEdge wait time app. They have a free and ad-free version. I know MDE includes wait times, but I like to have a backup to check against. The VersaEdge app does the trick.

They also make a dining app with menus and prices I like quite a bit.

I second Touring Plans' Lines app. If you have a subscription, their touring plans can really get you out of a bind too. Other than that an MDE (which I used a LOT because of FP+), I didn't really use anything else besides Camera.

I'm definitely getting a subscription to Touring Plans. I had one on our previous trips and it helped a lot. We weren't rigid to the schedule but it gave me an idea of how to manage our time the best.

I will change over the MDE app and check out VersaEdge also.
