What AP rates have you gotten in December?

Any idea when AP rates traditionally come out for late November/early December?

What are some examples of rates you've gotten? Any chance I can get something at Boardwalk/YC/BC or CR for UNDER $250 per night? I've been able to get that at WL/ALK during the spring season but was thinking of trying something different.

It won't help you this year, but allow me to bask in my past glory...

AKL standard view room for $109/nite in Dec '03! Add to that the free upgrade to savannah view! Those were the days...

In December 2003, Disney had a DIRECT rate of $49/night at the Value Resorts. Many major travel agencies, like Expedia and AAA (but not Disney direct), were booking rooms during the Christmas/New Year's holiday at that rate. And the Hilton WDW offered a rate of $89/night for the holiday period. My family didn't take advantage of those offers, though... we choose to vacation at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on a direct rate of $189/night (and as Gold members were upgraded from a parial to an oceanfront!) The same room is nearly $300 more this year.

My point is that December 2003, and probably 2004, is a poor bench mark.
