We are going to Disney 2 days after Christmas this year. I want to get some presents for my girls (3 & 4 years old) while we are there rather than having gifts at home (we are suprising them with the Disney trip on Christmas).

So from you experienced Dissers - What and where are the best gifts in Disney?

Personally I buy a lot before we go. The Disney store has B1G1 on their stuffed animals every once in a while and also they have great clearance deals.

If you want something special to do, try the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You could do a big package and that would be an awesome Xmas gift!

I know all about the BBB. DH and I have decided not to do that because its $$$ and we want something we can take home with us and they can play with forever (or at least 15 minutes till they get bored :lmao:), not just something that lasts for a day. We will however probably take them to the barber shop and get their hair colored and confettied. A lot less, and almost as much fun!

Also, it doesn't matter the size of the item (or how many) because we will hav a car to take them home.

I have yet to find a quality toy in WDW....besides Lego, Playmobil. We have learned to save our $ rather than buy these toys. They look fantastic, but won't last through your trip (the following come to mind: Tree at AK - so we knew not to purchase the Epcot Spaceship Earth playset, the monorail (the gray things between cars are useless, can't fit the figures in the cars, which is fine, cause the figures break 4 seconds after you touch them!). From these experiences, we would not invest in the castle w/the little figures either!

We like the hats!

I agree the BBB experience is absolutely magical, and could last up to 3 days, which is longer than the toys!

:santa:You have inspired me to join the board my dear!!!!! You say your driving??? WELL after Christmas (26th to be precise) hit your local discount store ( Wal-Mart.K-Mart, Big Lots etc.) Buy a small tree, wire on lites, decorations etc., The wire is important so they dont fall off en route. take advantage of the after Christmas sales for some fun Disney gifts DO NOT forget glo stix and bubbles for simple stocking stuffers, wrap it&black trashbag it! NOW heres where you need to listen up pack that small tree, stockings and wrapped disney gifts last in the car/van so first out. After check in send your babies with the other parent to eat stroll the resort, you get the idea. Free parent grabs that black trash bag or two flies to the room plugs in tree, spreds out gifts & stockings Your kids are at WDW !!!Wrap a piece of twine and a can of pork and beans they will not care they have reached Kid Nirvana the home of the MOUSE!!!! I bought our spoiled rotten last child some Big Lots baby dolls, clothes etc. wrapped them and suprised her with them and you would have thought they were American Girl!!!:cheer2:

Cinderella Castle!!!! DD got this for Cmas last year from Santa and it's still the hottest toy in the house! It's about $75 or so, but comes with all kind of accessories and princesses & princes. Worth our $$

A comment on BBB....magical. We took our own Cindy dress and just got the cheapest package....hair & make-up, for $50. We are going on 2 years now and DD still talks about her time there. It was a lot of fun. My advice, do it early in the day so it can last all day and then some. In Dec. you may not be doing a lot of swimming so the "do" could last for days!
