What am I doing wrong?

I need help, the past 2 days I have been attempting to do the on-line checkin & it will not go through. Is it because I didn't add a cc #? Anyone else having problems?
 
I know when I went on the members site to look at APs the site went down for maintance.

You have to add the credit card # to continue. I just did it yesterday for the first time. Good Luck:)
 
Thank you everyone for your help. Still isn't working for me, even when I added my cc#. :confused3 Oh well, I'll just wait until I get there to check-in. Thanks again! 5 days to go! :dance3:
 

Someone else posted that they were having problems doing online check in and they called MS and was told they were aware that there is a systems problem and they are taking care of it.

So it's not just you. Sometimes it doesn't work. Which would bum me out because completing online check in helps bring up the excitement level. Not being able to do it would bring out anxiety for me. Even though it's okay not to do online check in. Silly me. :upsidedow
 
I wasn't able to do online check in for our last trip. It was a bummer. I hate spending time at the check in/out counter.
 
I'm having the same problem. I thought maybe I had to wait 10 days before our last night (my reservation is linked together). I tried everything and it still won't work for me - we check in on the 15th.:confused3

NO YOU DO NOT NEED TO PUT CC#! I have done on-line check-in 3 times over the past 5 months and never put my cc # in. Probably a system problem, call MS and ask. Good luck and have fun on your trip!
 
Like the PP said, you do not have to put in a credit card. I have never put in a card number, and while it prompts you again to put one in, I just decline and move on. I was able to complete my check-in a few days ago.
 
Are you doing a split stay?
I had this issue once here recently when I was doing a split stay. Every since the lastest S/W upgrade :surfweb: MS has had issues with split stays and online check-in.

This is correct. MS is having issues doing online check-in for DVC split stays. The new system does not have this ability yet. They said they are working onit. I bet this is the problem you are having.

I do have a split stay. I will stop trying. Thank you! We arrive early on Friday morning, so hopefully we won't have a line. I was excited to check-in & then bummed that it didn't work. Now off to packing :woohoo:
 
when you do check in just remember if they tell you your room is not ready ask them if "any rooms" are available! This happened to us in Feb checked into AKV, room was not ready came back 3 hours later 2:30 and we were told still not ready check back at 4 and I asked if "anything with savanna view" was available and CM checked, sure enough a room was ready for us. Enjoy!
 
Online check in hasn't been working for me for 3 days and I added a CC (even though I know you don't have to) and I don't have a split stay. I do however have a 3 part stay under one reservation # (due to a waitlist I had in the middle) and when you look at all 3 parts it is kind of messed up looking. It has all the right check-in and check-out dates for each part, but they say the wrong total # of nights. My e-mail paperwork has it all right but online it doesn't look exactly the same in the on-line check-in screen.

I gave up on on-line check in and will just do it when we get there. I have used it for non-DVC reservations though and it worked fine, but that was last fall.
