what airport is nearest Pantages Theatre

Can anyone tell me what airport is nearest the Pantages theatre? Also how long would it take to get to LAX from the Pantages Theatre. I'm trying to coordiante seeing Lion King and then flying out. How long is the show? Thanks for your help

The Pantages is in downtown LA ... so LAX is your best bet.

The actual drive from the Pantages to LAX is probably around 45 minutes, depending on traffic (which, in LA, is legendary).

We stayed in Century City during our last trip to LA, which was a little less than 30 minutes from the airport (driving without rush hour traffic, in the middle of the afternoon).

The show itself is about two and a half hours long.

Another choice would be Burbank airport it is a smaller airport but about the same distance just in the opposite direction. That way if you come at an odd time you don't have to deal with the crush of downtown and only one freeway to go on the 101.

We are also seeing the Lion King at the Panages Theatre and we will be staying at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. They are approx 20 minutes or 4 miles from the theatre. What we are doing is flying into LAX and then taking supershuttle which is approx $17.50 per person perway. We may take a taxi to the theatre or have the hotel rent us a car for that one day and we will take advantage of the car and tour Hollywood. The show is 2 hrs and 45 minutes long which includes a 20 minute break.
