We are going in September with our DS. He will be 21 months when we go. This will be our first trip since having DS, our last trip was over 2 years ago.

Here are they ADRs that I have made so far:

Friday, Sept. 12th: Whispering Canyon Cafe 6:35pm
Sept 13th: Cape May cafe 9:45am
Sept 14: Chef Mickey's 10:35am
Sept 15: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 10am
Sept 16: Hollywood & Vine 12:15pm
Sept 17th: Boma's 4:30pm
Spet 18th: Crystal Palace 7:35pm

Do you have any other suggestions? Would you change/replace anything? I'm a picky eater, DH is so-so and DS will eat anything you put in front of him.

We are staying at Pop Century. We arrive in Orlando at 10:30am on Friday and we will stay until Sept. 19th at 2pm.

Thanks for any help!!!!!

Hi!

I think we kind of know each other! I was a December nestie mama but ended up having my daughter a month early--- she'll be 22 months when we take our trip to WDW Sept 8-14th. We are sooooooooooooooo excited to take her and are busy making our dining plans too.

How exciting!!! You are going to be at Pop too?!

I can rarely nest anymore. No time. My DH is now working day shifts, so I don't have my nights free. :(

I'm so excited for this trip, I just hope DS has fun too!

Yep, we're going to be at POP too! I think that Landon and Lily might have to meet for a quick picture!

I know what you mean about nesting. We moved from AZ to TX recently and now that my dh is busy with his new job, I really don't have much free time either. Not to mention the fact that the minute I turn my head these days, my kiddo has gotten into trouble! :) Toddlerhood is challenging!

That would be too cute. Landon already has a girlfriend named Lily at daycare. They crack me up, because they are always running around together.

Landon's new thing this week is that he thinks he can go down stairs by himself. The kid has NO fear!!

I've very curious to see how Disney is with a toddler. I know Landon will be trying to run everywhere. We are trying to get him used to being in his stroller for walks now. So, maybe when we get there it won't be too bad! LOL

Cute! It's a tough age, but it sure is fun, isn't it? They're just all spunk.

We just moved into a 2 story a few weeks ago and I'm so thankful for gates right now other wise I think we would have had a few headers down the stairs at this point! Our little Evil Canevils! :)

We're starting to see some major 'tude going on in our house right now, so I'll be interested in how the stroller/walking thing goes at DW too. My parents are actually meeting up with us and we're sooooo glad for the extra help (not to mention maybe a break for me and dh here and there)!

I'm sure having your parents will really help out. We are going to try to take it slow and head back to Pop everyday to avoid meltdowns.

Landon can't talk, so I'm a little worried about that too. We are working with a developmental therapist and a speech therapist and we are starting to learn some sign language. I'm hope that DS and DH & I are better at it when we go. Otherwise, its going to be hard to know when he's hungry or thirsty, etc. It's hard now, because we don't always know what he wants and it lead to tantrums. :(

I'm crossing my fingers that everything will be okay on the trip.

These were my favs:
Whispering Canyon Cafe- So much fun, you'll love it.:rotfl2:
Chef Mickey's- All the favorites are there!:yay:
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall -They had the prettiest Cinderella there.
Crystal Palace- Pooh and friends and great food.:cheer2:

I am a November mommy nestie - I remember your name.

We took DS at 12 months and are going again in 2 weeks (he will be 18 month). He was OBSESSED with Chip and Dale, so we are doing Garden Grill. We did Liberty Tree Tavern last time (and will again in October). I think you have some good choices - buffets are great for the little ones. The only concern would be Boma if anyone is picky. DH is a picky eater and won't go there

When we went in November with DS, then 23 months, he loved Crystal Palace and Hollywood & Vine. Coral Reef was also great.

We went when DS was 9 months and 21 months. At 9 mos, the only character meal we did was CP and he was extremely cranky and didn't do well. At 21 months, we did CM and he did great, loved the characters. As far as behaving in the parks, the little booger refused to keep his shoes on. Most would say in Florida, no big deal. Well when we were there, it was in the 30s with very high wind gusts - SO COLD. People kept looking at me like I was a terrible mother, but every time I would put his shoes on, he would use the stroller to pull them off from the heal, then off with socks. To keep from loosing them, I finally just stuck in the diaper bag. He didn't like the lines too much either. I would suggest one of those "leashes" with the little backpack. I used one with Cameron and it was great. The little backpack held his snacks while we were in line and I didn't have to worry about him darting off. They are soft enough that you can leave it on while they are in the stroller.
