You can make ADRs 60 days in advance by calling 714-781-DINE.
Everyone has a differing opinion on the best character meal, but Goofy's seems to be a favorite, and we enjoyed our character breakfast there. But Storytellers, Minnie's, and Lilo & Stitch all get good reviews. If you have little girls, you may want to schedule a Princess character meal at California Adventure.
For New Years Eve, whatever you do, if you want to be in one of the parks to ring in the New Year, get there early and STAY there! Don't leave for any reason! Don't even think about park hopping or going back to your room for a break. If you leave for any reason, you won't be able to get back in because there's about a 100 percent chance that the parks will be at capacity. Make sure you make your ADRs at exactly 60 days out. Of course the Blue Bayou is very popular at
Disneyland, a bit expensive but great atmosphere. If you'd like to celebrate the New Year with adult libations

, plan on going to California Adventure for the day and night, and I'd recommend making ADRs at the Vineyard Room.
