What about WDW now is like the pre pandemic days?

I'm a Disneyland vet, age 42. I've been to DL almost every year of my life. I went to WDW for the first time 5 years ago and loved it. So did my children and DH. We're hoping to go back in 2 years. As horrible as this sounds, we're kind of waiting for my stepdad to die first. I really want my parents to come, but it would be too hard for my mom with with my stepdad, who has dementia really bad. Anyways, in what ways would you say WDW is the same pre-pandemic wise? I know a lot of benefits have been taken away, but some things must have remained the same.
