What about the Groceries?

Next month we will be staying at the BWV(1br), our first DVC stay. We are flying and don't plan to rent a car, but our shuttle service allows a free grocery store stop. We have a morning flight, and even with a stop should be at BWV by 1pm. What should I plan to do about the perishable stuff? Will they let you put it in the fridge, even if the room won't be ready for occupancy until 4, or should I take a cooler as checked baggage to put things in, or what? Would it be better to go straight to the resort first and take a taxi to the store later? I would prefer not to do that. Any advice from you experienced folks would be greatly appreciated!

All you have t do is tell the bell hop the you have stuff that need to be keep cold and they will put it in a Cooler. Plus there is a chance that your room might be ready by the time you get there.

Good luck with the shopping, try Publix, dont goto Goodings or Sams.

Oh, that's great news! I was thinking we'd do Publix, but I remember going to an Albertson's or Winn-Dixie 2 years ago. Goodings is just a bit too pricey for trying to feed a growing teen boy & a picky toddler! Thanks for your help.
