What about the Desert Palms

DH and I are thinking this trip is a good possibility. My biggest fear with Hojo is the fact that yes it is internal corridors but they are all separate buildings. We are looking at the Desert Palms.


Good? Bad??

I haven't stayed there, but I would check out Tripadvisor.com to compare hotels if you aren't sure or aren't getting any responses...They are owned by the same people who own Desert Inn and Suites.

I just stayed there in August (because of it being a hotel instead of a motel). It was pretty good for just a place to stay at night. The room was a little small, but we had a separate room (very small) with an extra bed, so it suited us. Our balcony had an excellent view of DCA and probably the fireworks (if we had seen them). Can't tell you about their breakfast because we had already left for the parks before they started serving. The walk was about 7-10 minutes. Not horrible, but you can get much closer. It is right next to 7-11, which helped for breakfast foods and waters.
