What about ME when you have a Very Early Arrival and Departure!

Our Arrival into MCO from LAX will be approx. 6:30 a.m. Will someone from ME be there? Does anyone have any experience with flying in to MCO at this hour and using ME?

Also, Our departure out of MCO back to LAX leaves at 7:40 a.m. so from what I understand they pick up "3" hours before your departure time. OK! That means ME would be picking us up around 4:40 a.m. Does anyone know how realiable they are when it comes to these kind of hours?

I am a little nervous when it comes to getting back to the airport to go home.

DME will be running, in case the CM with the Mickey hand isn't there to direct you;go to the "A" side of the terminal. You need to go down two floors to the ground transportation level (level one). That's the level below baggage claim. You can take the elevator, two escalators or find an escalator that goes down 2 floors.

ME will pick you up that early for your bus ride back to the airport. You will have to transport your own luggage and check in at the airport.

The resort check-in desk doesn't open until 6 am and won't accept luggage or airport check-ins for flights before 9:30 am.

Thanks Carol for the info. for when we leave to go home. I had a feeling that we would just get the pick up and be on our own with our luggage and check in at that early hour, but that's ok as long as I know ahead of time.

As far as when we arrive at MCO, I know where to go for the shuttles but my question is will the ME desk be deserted at 6:40 or so in the morning? I don't expect to see any "White gloved" hands at that hour.

For your arrival into Orlando at 6:40 the Magical Express buses should be running. These are the same bus trips that brought guests back to the airport for early morning flights home.

Going home, the Magical Express buses leaving the resort before dawn are just as reliable as those in the mid morning or afternoon. It is the guests who need to be punctual.

There are a few reports of guests making their last night's stay at an airport hotel, naming for Magical Express back to the airport an arbitrary existing flight on any airline leaving the respective evening before their actual early morning flight.
