I think we have decided on Disney Music... The only song that wont be Disney during the ceremony is the song i walk down the aisle too... There are soo many great disney songs for the organist to play. If you want, send me an email and I will email u the list i have..
I had all classical music played by an organist, violinist, and one trumpeter. Here is what we used:
Seating of the Mothers: Pachelbel's Canon in D
Bridesmaids Processional: Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring
Bride's Processional: Trumpet Voluntary by Clark
Lighting of the Unity Candle: Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod
Recessional: Hornpipe by Handel
The really great thing about the violinist and trumpeter was that we really got a lot of music. Since both musicians are booked for 3 hour minimum time slots, the violinist played prior to Illuminations beginning at our pre-reception and the trumpeter played a little fanfare when they introduced us at our reception. I was really glad I had the musicians.
We are going DISNEY!! I am so excited. Our whole theme is Mickey mouse and disney, so we figured disney wedding music was the way to go.
This is all-as of right now-but here is what we are thinking
For when our guests are arriving, we will be playing "be our guest"
When we walk down the aisle: A dream is a wish your heart makes or maybe "a whole new world"
recessional: Zip a dee doo dah
at the reception-several other songs we like. Beauty and the beast kinda has a special meaning to us, so we'll probably play that. We are thinking of having them play "the rose". Not disney, but we both like it. and some other things we haven't completely decided on yet. This has been the hardest thing to think about for me.
