What about Bongos and Culton's crab house?

Me and my GF are seriously thinking about going to one or the other of these spots to eat. I have not seen a whole lot of reviews on either one. about 12 years ago I ate at a cuban resteraunt in Miami and it was SO GOOD! But when I was a kid I ate on the Empress Lilly, so I am kind of torn which I want to do.

I found Bongos to be tasteless, and didn't really enjoy my meal that much. However I don't have another Cuban restraunt to compare it to. With some seasoning I think the food could have been quite good.

Bongos is pretty good--but loud. The reviews I've seen say the food isn't exactly "pure" Cuban.
As for Fultons--you won't mistake it for the Empress Lilly you remember, that's for sure!!!
The food is ok, prices high, service abysmal.

I have to agree about Fultons. The old Empress Lilly is looking tired and in need of an overhaul. The food is decent but nothing special.

As for Bongos I have had good meals there and not so good meals there. Depends on what you order.

I've never been to Bongo's so I can't give you an opinion on that, but I HIGHLY recommend Fulton's. It was so funny, we had an ADR scheduled for our trip in May and we almost cancelled it due to the negative comments we kept reading. Well, boy are we glad we didn't! The food was amazing and the service was by far the best we had our entire stay at Disney and frankly, some of the best service we've had anywhere (which means a lot coming from 2 people who work in the restaurant business). And like I said, the food was out of this world! The seafood was as fresh and cooked perfectly, and we are from New England, so we know what fresh seafood is supposed to taste like. And the place was packed when we were there and everyone was basically licking their plates! I'm not saying that the people who have had bad experiences there aren't telling the truth, I'm just trying to give a positive review among the negatives. I rank Fulton's right up there with CG for food quality and way above for service.
