What a lovely day for a 16th b-day party

My sis-in-law turns 16 tomorrow and guess who got to host her b-day party? DH and I worked for 2 weeks getting the house ready for all the people. We had a nice crowd and she had a blast. We had a pinata for her and her friends and lots of food. She got a sapphire ring from her mom and DH and I gave her earrings to match. The girl cleaned up!
She helped us so much in getting the house ready and picked up- her mom did less than her and it was her party. She's a great kid.
We had beautiful weather- 74 and sunny.

My mom's b-day is the same day. For those of you who have been praying and thinking of her, she started chemo last week and has been doing great. Just a little fatigue, no stomach problems.
