With HHN starting this Friday, which haunted house at HHN are you most looking forward to? You can only vote for one house.

I'm hope I'm not setting myself up (like I did with reflections of fear last yr), but I'm reaaaaaalllllly looking forward to the SAW house.

I voted for Leave It To Cleaver. The theme looks to be both scary and fun. If they pull it off, I think it should be amazing. I had thought of voting for The Spawning, because I love monster movies, like CHUD.

I haven't seen any of the Saw films yet, but our local Blockbuster store is closing and had previous viewed dvds on sale for $5.99. I picked up Saw 1-4 for $5.99 each and got Saw 5 for $9.99. I'm planning on having a Saw marathon before I leave for Universal on Wednesday, Oct. 7. As I'm off that whole week, I should be able to have the marathon either Monday or Tuesday.

I voted for the Saw house...no particular reason. I like the movies and I hope the house is as good.

let me tell you my thoughts and then i'll tell you why i voted the way i did.

Saw will be in the Jaws Queue. I don't know how effective this house will be.
The last houses in year's past at Jaws, had some good and bad themes here.
I don't know if it can live up to the movies.

Wolfman: will be in the soundstage and in past years, those houses were done great with the props and set up. Rick Baker i read, is doing the makeup for this house characters. It could be great.
don't remember much on any past houses ever using the Wolfman, so i am excited to see how this one pans out.
i have always found the houses in the soundstage to have the extra "touch" and very impressed with what is in there.

Dracula: if it is anything like Camp Vampyr of 2004 hhn, it could be an interesting house.

Spawning: not sure. i read where some think it will be the "sleeper hit" this year. looking forward to it. i keep thinking of it as a B movie.

Leave it to Cleaver: it has my vote. (on reading other message boards, some feel this will be the sleeper hit for the year.)

if it is anything like Scarepy Home for the Holidays, it will be the hit house for the year.
Scarepy H for the H was one of my favorite houses from the past.

I am thinking that Cleaver will be a 50's era house with suburbia style, cannabalism, a look in the past- type of house.

this might be the potential house for the season greatest and longest lines.

i hope it doesn't disappoint me.

no matter what, i know i will enjoy each house and scare zone.
i'll know my favorite house when my time is over for each night.

i like to see each house with the A team and the B team in action.
so many times it is the scareactors that wins me over.

I'll post my thoughts on the houses late Friday night or Saturday morning. ;)

Saw is a good movie, Saw II, pretty good as well. They each have twists and turns and an original plot, not like any other horror movie that I've seen, not your typical blood and guts slasher movie. They are worth watching for sure, not sure about the last few, haven't seen all of them, but the 1st one gave me chills at the end. :scared1: I won't spoil it for you.

I posted the lone vote so far for Wolfman. Here's the main reason I think this house will surprise us.

We really don't know much of anything about the house!!! No sneak peaks, no hidden shots, and fanfare like some of the others.

I like the mystery and being that this is the only house I haven't seen the facade of, I'm banking a lot on this one. Surprise me Universal!!!

it was between that house and Cleaver for me.

all the houses in soundstage buildings are usually fantastic.

I'm like you though, I can't really think of any house I'm NOT looking forward to. I will say that I'm so excited that it starts this weekend because I don't think I could take the wait anymore. :lmao:

Look for the two 41 year olds that are acting like two 21 year olds!!! That will be my wife and me!

I know I saw it at some point, but I can't remember the locations of the different houses.

Do you know where I can find that info?

thanks

I have the map from the passholder flyer. Here are the approximate locations of the houses:

Silver Screams - next to E.T.
Chucky - near the Barney area...could be a tent house
The Spawning - beside MIB...tent house
Saw - Jaws queue
Leave it to Cleaver - in the Disaster queue
Frankenstein - sound stage house
Dracula - sound stage house
The Wolfman - sound stage house

Anything else I can tell you?

So I take it the Wolfman and Dracula themes are going to be from the classic films, so kind of like movie sets from those movies?
