What 1 (ok, maybe 2) thing would you ask Santa for? No price limit...

crafty/scrapbook/etc related.

I think I would want some free time + 10 min free shopping time at a kick butt scrapbooking store (I have yet to find one around here) + lessons from a "seasoned" scrapbooker.

I have a few pages but I don't think they're all that great...

Oh, I also want knitting lessons that stick. My brother's gf has taught me 2 times now (and will again at thanksgiving) but I'm pretty dense (read DUYHHHHHH) and can't pick it up.

1 each of every EK Disney 3-D sticker. :)

That would make me SO happy I couldn't even tell you, LOL. As I used them, I'd replace them so I'd always have a full set. So much fun. :)

Edit : I'd like to argue that this is one item, since I want a set. :P

I have asked Santa for the new Making Memories paper trimmer

http://www.makingmemories.com/products/tools/trimmer.cfm

Ooo...that's nice! As I've just begun, I bought the $10 cricut one. It does just fine for me, and I only do one sheet at a time anyway (no reason I can see that I'll need to do more), but that one looks like the Mercedes of paper cutters, hehe.

Something tells me this thread could get dangerous...

I sent my DH a list by email so he can print it out. I also let him know when the things I want are on sale.

I have a whole list of Cricut cartridges that he can pick from. :teeth:

Well, I'd really love the Genesis Paper Trimmer but I can't justify the cost nor do I think I could wait 18 months for a paper trimmer! :rolleyes1

But, that new Making Memories trimmer Hope posted about looks pretty nice!

I've already sent my list. I asked for a new paper trimmer. To cut more then one page at a time. This will come in handy for all my swapping next year. :goodvibes

I also asked for some Wishblade cds and a new photo printer. I need a smaller one so I can take it with me when I scrap away from home.

A real scrapbooking room! I have lots of scrapbooking supplies, some containers, some shelving, a table and so on but it looks so uncoordinated! When we buy our next house (hopefully within next 18 months or so) I get a space to truly design from the beginning as a scrapbooking space; not something hobbled together like I have now! :)

A Cricut with a couple of extra fonts. That would be so sweet! :teeth:

A new Mac book with the Intel processor and Wishblade. Can't have one wothout the other. Does that mean it counts as one gift??? ;)

i like NED's idea of 1 of every Disney embellie.. Oh and I agree with Kathy a room would be lovely!!!!

Wouldn't that be NEAT? I picture it all on a bulletin board, tacked up so you could see them all. And as I used them, I'd go out and replace them, LOL.

It's sad how much I love those $5 stickers, LOL.

I have mine tucked away in binders, if DH ever saw them all up at once he'd kill me. unfortunately he knows how much they cost. LOL

He He. Mine are in a drawer, but DH knows that every Sunday I scope out the M's coupons so I can go get one per week (if I drag him, I can get 2 using the J's coupon). But I am almost through the ones they have in stock and there are a gazillion left to get. I can get them at the LSS, but they are more expensive. Hopefully M's will get some of the new stuff.

I'm just glad it's not like pins, LOL. I don't need more "rare" items to be looking for. It seems as if the stuff is all readily available, if you want to pay full retail.

I've been keeping mine in folders so far. I've been keeping everything pretty much in them (just standard manilla 8x11 ones). I group my paper by theme, put a little post-it note tab (the kind you use you mark passages in books) on the side of it with what's in the folder written in it so I can see it when it's sideways (since the 12x12 paper goes over the tab you'd normally write it on, obviously). Then I stack them all in one of those plastic paper holders (the ones that look like the magazine file boxes you see in libraries).

So far, that's been enough for me. I keep everything in a medium-sized file bin and have plastic baggies (Halloween themed! LOL) for adhesives, punches, etc. So far it works quite well - after I choose the pics, I take a folder of the appropriate themed paper, the appropriate stickers out of the sticker folder, and whatever plastic baggies I may need (the adhesives always, and often the punches as well as I am falling in love with them), and just work on that set. Each "active" set I'm working on has all of it's stuff (stickers, embellishments, photos, etc.) in it's own folder as well, so I can easily pack up or pick up where I left off.

And right now I'm procrastinating here on the DIS, because my Pooh ride layout is staring me in the face, all the photos matted...just screaming at me to "commit, commit, commit" and not be afraid I'm going to mess it all up LOL. I'm getting better of that.

I think that I would have to agree with the new scrapbooking room, but I would want it to be big enough for me and 20 of my closest friends to crop.

Wishblade - Wishblade - Wishblade!

I'm not getting one for Christmas but I'm trying really hard to budget so I can get one with our tax return.

I am (finally!) getting a digital camera for Christmas this year, but I'm getting it early so I can use it on my December Disney trip. That will bring my scrapping into the 21st century!

I would have to ask Santa for a Craft Robo Pro or the new Klic -n- Kut so I would be able to cut my Disney font from my computer out of 12 x 12 paper so I wouldn't have to cut it down first!!

Canon Pro9500 printer to make scrapbook pages that will not fade.
