What’s the fastest way from AK to Disney Springs and back?

We have a lunch reservation at Disney Springs during our AK day. Bad planning on my part, but I didn’t know. None of the dinner options at AK appealed to us. So, using Disney Transportation, what’s the quickest way to get there? Is there a resort close to DS that we can catch a bus?

You could take a Disney bus to SSR and walk over to DS.

But the fastest would probably be Uber/Lyft.

There's NOTHING at AK that appeals to you?

I'd be hard pressed to lose that park time to eat lunch.

I know at certain times of the year there has been a bus from AK to DS after 4p. I'm not 100% sure if that still runs but I'm sure someone here would be able to tell us.

Have you considered a restaurant at AKL or Coronado? They are the closest locations and a short bus ride to/from the parks.

Bomat at AKL is a buffet but is very good.

Quickest would be Uber/Lyft. Or, you could take the bus to SSR and walk or boat over to DS, or take the bus to AKL from AK and transfer to the DS bus there. The bus options will take you about an hour, give or take. Uber will take about 20 mins.
Have you considered Rainforest Cafe, right at AK??

The problem resolved itself. A reservation at Yak and Yeti opened up, which never showed up on my earlier attempts at reservations, at 7:30, which allowed us to stay at the park. When I cancelled the other reservation, the reservation rep sprayed some Pixie Dust on us and didn’t charge us the cancellation fee.

apparently you can change a reservation within the window with no charge, so if you need to cancel last minute, move the reservation a few days a head then cancel it
