What’s the earliest you have received your room assignment? I have always had to go to the desk . Now with distancing, maybe I will finally get a text!

About 9:30 AM when moving from one resort to another. Checked out of the first, got text while driving to the next.

We had a super early flight one year and got the text as we were walking through the airport at 8am.

I've been hearing that people are getting early notifications likely bc WDW is staggering room bookings so that room stay empty for a couple of days before getting assigned to new guests, therefore rooms are already ready to go.

Question, have you gotten these notifs earlier than the arrival time you indicated on online check-in? I put in a 12 p.m. arrival time for our trip next week, but we'll likely be there sooner so wouldn't mind an earlier room assignment.

5:04 AM this last trip, but that's because one member of our party was already on site and they just connected our reservations together so that she wouldn't have to switch rooms.

Looking back, 9:15am was the earliest, then 10:15.

The earliest was as we landed, turned phone on and the text came through (around 11am arrival) I've also been on magical express and the text came in. I think there was just one time (POP) that I never got a text.

Back in November, a split stay, first Pop and then transferring to Boulder Ridge at Wilderness Lodge. I think the DVC room was ready at 7 am-ish.

BLT once and CCV another time - no special requests that I can remember.

We arrived on July 12 and was on Magical Express around 11:00 am and received our room ready request.

It’s happened a few times around 11 am of the day of arrival. It’s funny but I think Disney knows when you land at the airport and are on the way to the resort via magical express.

9:30 was my earliest, but i suspect that is because we went up to the front desk at 9am after an early arrival just to see if our room might be ready. Almost every other trip it's been after 11am.

We landed around 915 AM and uberred right to another park (oops sorry DME!!) and received the text. it was hours before we had told Disney to expect our arrival--we knew we would go right to a park and had checked in saying we wouldn't be at our hotel until about 9 PM and were staying at Coronado Springs.

We’ve had it happen many times where we don’t have a text but once we land and start checking MDE one will appear shortly after, typically while on DME. I’m sure there’s some sort of tracking with GPS/MDE!

Plane landed at 11:00 am.
When we turned off airplane mode, one room was ready. By the time the ME reached the resort, the other two rooms had notifications too.
