What’s all the fuss over candy canes? Please enlighten me…

Do people actually enjoy eating these things? I've never liked candy canes. I mean, they aren't the worst thing I've ever eaten or anything, but I certainly would never be jazzed about eating one. They are about as exciting as the after dinner mint hard candy they bring with your bill after a meal at a restaurant.

It's fun to say you have a candy cane from Disneyland, but my experience is that it's strictly a FOMO thing to do.
