What’s with Le Cellier Steakhouse on line booking at 180 days?

I have been trying to book a lunch time table but all I get is an opening at 4 pm. I have tried each day in the morning, afternoon and evening but always get the same answer that the only time available is at 4pm and that is the dinner menu. We will be there for 20 days and can’t get anything during the lunch hours, even at the 180 day window. I did get Disney Dining to check everything out and they told me that they see no lunch reservations made during the dates I have been requesting. I hate to book an evening table and just get just to get Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and a Moosehead Pale Ale or two. Would like to get a House Burger but that’s only served on the lunch menu.

Don't know the actual problem but they may be just not taking lunch time reservations yet perhaps because many are unaware that Le Cellier is going to signature status in 2013 and will cost 2 dining credits in the Dining Plans for both lunch and dinner and they possibly do not want people making lunch reservations on the assumption it is one credit and then being angry when they show up.

I am too lazy to do the math, but is this during Xmas time? A lot of LC reservations are reserved for the Candlelight Processional

Every now and then restaurants do not get their times loaded in to the system right at 180 days. I'd suggest to just keep checking. I'd also agree that going signature for lunch may be having a lot to do with that delay.

That's my guess too: inventory is not yet loaded into the ADR system. Check back periodically.

FWIW, dinner was a lot easier to get last year after it went Signature. I suspect lunch will be easier now, as well---still not last-minute, but probably not right at 180 days or miss out, either.

LC is a very popular restaurant and can be hard to book even at 180 days. I've only been able to get it once for dinner--I couldn't even get it for Candlelight Processional DP and I called first thing in the morning.

I understand they held back a lot of lunch reservatons for the candlellight processional.

and now that, in 2013, it is going siganture, even for lunch, people are really booking it quickly!

Still not loaded yet. I've been trying for my January 2013 trip and started at the 180 +10 and no lunch ADRs were available yet. Yes, heard it was going to 2TS credits for lunch and until that is official, we probably won't be able to book until then. I check often.

Lunch reservations have not been loaded for 2013 at this time.

Unfortunately it's just going to be a waiting game.

Assuming everyone is aware that Le Cellier is changing over to a signature restaurant for lunch (2 DDP credits and anticipate that the menu will probably change.)

Thanks for the update. I can now scratch Le Cellier of my list. It's yummy, but not 2 credits yummy. :rolleyes2

The weird thing is that I just booked Le Cellier for dinner in Feb 2013, and according to the website, on the deluxe dining plan in 2013, Lunch is still shown as 1 credit... I'm assuming that's completely wrong?
