Whad'ga get for Cmas!

Santa brought me Loreena McKennitt's new CD, a new treadmill [LOVE IT!] and a spa for my bathtub! I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 30 minutes in my spa!

We just came back from a long walk, trying to work off the turkey dinner.

We got a new Nikon D80 and new lenses and assorted filters a new Nintendo Wii and extra classic controllers and Wiimote and a couple SD cards for the games and a new air hockey table. I got a new lambskin jacket and the kids got tonnes of disney pins and disney clothes etc it was a huge haul this season we love Santa in our house...

We just finished. What a fun game. DS (6) got a bit frustrated by not knowing some of the movies, but then he's a little tired and cranky after being up soooo early!

I got a trip to Disneyworld.. but I knew about that... but I did get
a food processor,
a fondue pot
a Winnie the pooh toaster
( hmm Im think people think I like to cook)

DS had his first Christmas and made out like a bandit. He got the Winnie the Pooh snuggle blanket baby gym, The fisherprice Animal singing train.... and well so much more that I think we will have to put a lot of it away for some time..

Im exhausted.

Santa was very good to us this year - my husband got the new Nikon D80 digital camera (really more a gift for the whole family, but he has been pining for it for weeks). I got a new leather coat, clothes and perfume, and our two daughters got an iPod nano and an electric guitar respectively, plus other smaller gifts.

We felt very blessed to be together with family and to be healthy and safe this Christmas, when so many others around the world are not so fortunate.

Holy cow we did some small calculations last night and it looks like the kids had a little over 1000 dollars each spent on them just between the wife and myself and my parents and they still have another X mas to go today at teh inlaws place.

We cut way back this year - only spent $75 on each daughter (including stockings) and about the same on eachother. I got a pasta strainer pot, pepper grinder, CD, GF postcards from our last trip, It's a Wonderful Life DVD and some Burt's Bees' foot creme. Had a magical Xmas Eve and Day and we all loved the call from Mickey to announce our next trip (never mind that we all knew about the trip - the call was COOL). Oldest DD had an unfortunate fender bender on the 22nd, so keep your fingers crossed that her insurance doesn't go up too much. Cost to fix is just under $1000, so once I can find out the insurance damage we'll breathe a little easier. I'm still flying high that no one was hurt - that's probably why Xmas felt especially wonderful this year. Hope everyone's holiday is magical and you have your best new year ever!

I am lovin my tassimo I got. I got some really lovely things like a new digital camera and rocker recliner to read my newspaper in etc!....but the best thing I recieved however was from ds12. He made me the most beautiful homeade Christmas card with a poem inside and a clay penguin he made himself and he painted....you guessed it....lime green

Got tons of great stocking stuffers, but the only Disney item I got was a black scrapbooking album with Mickey embossed on the front and a sheet of Disney related scrapbooking stickers. All for our next trip
