whaddaya think of this plan?

with my 180 days approaching, trying to get all my ducks in a row with ADRs and times. here's what i'm planning...advice/suggestions/comments gladly welcomed. Will be staying at Pop Oct 24th-29th (fingers crossed for free dining); myself, DH, DS (9), DD (14 months), and my mom; basic plan (1 CS, 1 TS, 1 snack).

Sunday Oct 25th: AK 9am-6 pm 8 am Tusker House and 5:30 Rainforest Cafe
Monday Oct 26th: Ep 9am-9 pm 5:30 Biergarten (plan on snacking a bit at F&W; but DH really wants to eat here)
Tuesday Oct 27th: HS 9am-7 pm 5:30 50's Cafe
Wednesday Oct 28th: MK 9am-10 pm (PM EMH) 8 am Crystal Palace
Thursday Oct 29th: DTD/MNSSHP 11:30 am T Rex Restaurant

You have one too many TS if you're not planning on going OOP.

Both Tusker House and Rainforest Cafe are TS on the 25th, so you need to either change one to a QS restaurant, or be okay paying OOP and forfeiting your dining credit for that day.

The dining plan doesn't work like that. You can use the credits however you want throughout the trip. So if you choose to do 4 TS meals on day 1, knock yourself out. You don't have to use a certain amount of each every day.

But OP, they are correct that you have one extra so you would have to pay OOP. Personally, I'd drop Rainforest Cafe, because it's a chain and not unique to WDW (we have one in Dallas) and do Flametree BBQ as a QS that afternoon in AK.

My reservation says I have 6 TS credits...we check in on the 24th and check out the 29th. Was just planning on doing QS the 24th when we get there. I know rainforest and trex are pretty much the same thing; but DS is very infatuated with animals and dinos and i figured he'd enjoy both restaurants. and we don't have a rainforest in charlotte.

Your credits are based on the number of nights. You're there 5 nights so you'll get 5 TS credits, 5 QS credits, and 5 snacks per person.

I don't know why the website would show the number of credits (I've never seen that), especially incorrectly, but the website is frequently wrong. Here is the brochure which clearly states what you get.

What about Sanaa instead of Rainforest? Then your husband could see some real animals!
