Whadday mean we can't go to WDW for dinner tonight?

So, this is the email exchange I had with DH today:

Me: This is where I want to go for dinner tonight, in case you are wondering:

Him: I don't know, Hun, that would be the farthest dinner commute we've ever done.

Me: And that would be a problem because?

Him: Try not to think about me right now. I know that's hard, but you need to concentrate on your work, not me.

I know I live in Minnesota, but do you really think it is too much for me to ask to have dinner at Y&Y once in awhile? Geesh!

Totally logical. One of the very best parts about Disney is the food. When I'm at home, I crave some of my favorites from my favorite restaurants. If I had a private plane, I would totally go to dinner at Disney at least twice a week. It would only make sense after all.

Me: I heard there's a spring training game coming up at Wide World of Sports, would you like me to pick up a few tickets for us?

I thought that too! I was like where did that line come from? Obviously food at Y&Y is on the brain.

Oh, I can assure you, he totally knew I was not thinking about him. He just was changing the subject in an effort to ignore my dinner request. It was his way of saying "No, we are not going to fly to WDW to take you to Y&Y for dinner." After 25 years of marraige...this is what I get!

My wife is on to me...When she asks where I want to go for dinner, she's realized that she better end the sentence with, "...in the tri-state area."

She thinks she's so smart!
