WH checkout/pool use

I had a thought. My DS and I are leaving on a Disney Cruise the day we check out of our WH Villa. We have to leave the Villa by 10 am but the ship doesn't board until 12 or so. I realize it will take an hour to get to the ship but I am not in a hurry to be the first ones on. Is it possible to leave our Villa and then go use the community pool at WH until we are ready to leave the ship? I know people "extend" their stay at hotels this way but has anyone ever done it at WH?
If the weather doesn't cooperate then we will probably go to DD to the Lego store.

I don't know why you couldn't just go park in the lot near the pool. You'll still have your parking pass for that day.

You can get a prox card for the length of your stay, it should still work OK on your final day.

We did a Disney Cruise after a WDW stay and on the way to the ship the unthinkable happened: one of our two carloads full of people got a flat tire. We barely made it and needless to say it wasn't the relaxing "check in at the ship and have lunch" day I had planned on. Really, in your shoes I would leave at 10, pack your suit and hang around the pool once you're on board. JMHO!
