buzz for boys

As expected at silly o’clock me and Wayne were sitting up in bed drinking coffee. We opened the blinds to watch the sunrise and it hit me for the first time we had actually made it!! We were in Florida!!
Before very long we were joined on our bed by all 4 kids and we got up eager to start the day!! After exploring every inch of the villa we were in the car and heading back to Wal-Mart so we could get the food for the week and of course we were in their ages!!
At 10 am we were back at the villa and it was so warm we decide to give into the kids pleas to get in the pool and we soon found out that although it was hot hot hot the water was freezing !! The kind of take your breath away freezing but we were not put off we plunged straight in and stayed in for nearly an hour!!
Whilst swimming we decided we would go to Downtown Disney and get our very first Disney fix!
On the way we saw a real life coca cola truck the adults were very excited at this and took so many photos through the windscreen but disappointed at the quality we did a quick turn so that a photo with window down could be obtained !! The kids were a little bemused by these antics and just sat in the back looking very confused at what the fuss was over a truck !!
I guess its an age thing because Dh and I were buzzing!!
Hot on the heels of this excitement was the first glimpse of the Disney arch suddenly I could feel goosebumps and tears pricking my eyes.Against all odds we were actually driving under the Disney arch and with that thought tears were replaced by the biggest grin ever
I was also a little disappointed that we were not going into the parks until next week but I was also looking forward to the relaxed go with the flow approach for this week too.
At Downtown Disney I realised Keira remembered very little of our last trip and was amazed by her surroundings. When we left the exit of one shop she was met with the sight of giant Buzz light-year she let out a gasp and ran straight over the biggest grin on her face!!
The world of disney shop never fails to amaze me how much disney stuff can you fiy under one roof ?? We had so much fun just browsing and of course the obligatory silly hats photos !!
Whilst standing in here I glanced around and everyone was smiling the biggest smile I have seen from my family all year and I just thought to myself its worth every penny and every second of worry that we wouldnt make it just to watch the kids be kids and the adults be stress free and we didnt even buy anything today we just wandered about in a daze !!
After exiting the world of disney we decide to sit and watch the fountains for a second it was getting stupid hot and I desperatly needed to sit down !! Before we could say anything all 4 kids ran straight in and Cam lay on the floor getting absolutly drenched !! I couldnt believe it not 30 seconds before they were hassling they wanted food at Trex and now they were soaking wet but hey its a holiday and man its warm so we wrung the clothes out and then sat on the wall by the christamas tree waiting for them to dry just a little bit !!
Cameron was laughing so much when he tipped his trainers up and water flowed out of them !
So the boys wanted a meal at Trex and they were now only just damp ish so we decided that they could have their wish and in we went!!Our meal here last March was a highlight of the trip which was probaly why the boys so desperatly wanted to return!! Well that and they were starving hungry by now!!
Me and Wayne decided to share the bone yard buffet and the boys all had burgers and fries! The chef came out to talk to Keira and she went for the ribs with mashed potato!!
We ate the lot and I have to say were disappointed compared to our last visit – Trex seemed to have no atmosphere today and it was sooo dark in there we couldn’t see what we were eating!! We did make our own fun though with a game where you had to pull a funny face whilst drinking your drink we were howling laughing at the kids who will do anything for a photo !!
We skipped dessert as the boys were hassling for a trip to Goofys Candy Company!! Dans camera took loads of photos in here so ill add a few when i upload them !! But here they are enjoying their sugar overload !
Whilst in the shop I hit the jetlag wall and that feeling of tiredness just hit me like a hammer over the head!! So after just a few hours wandering about and soaking up the Disney atmosphere it was back in the car with plenty of candy and back to the villa.
I went straight to bed and was spark out in seconds everyone else watched a DVD and chilled in villa before collapsing into bed at a reasonable 7pm!!

Another great update and I loved the hat photos. I've never eaten at T-rex but I think I might add it onto our next trip.
