Today it was Black Friday and I was very excited to experience the american bargain frenzy. So at 8am we were on the road and after careful consideration had chosen the premuim outlet mall as our first stop!! Now wayne was looking a bit pale today and I can only think it stemed from the moment when I checked with him that he did have his credit card on him didnt he !! And then just to make sure got him to check !!
Now when we arrived at the mall it was immediatly obvious that this was indeed going to be a crazy shopping trip,Keira and I were very excited, the boys were already groaning and more than once wayne muttered " If we cant even park whats the point ?? You will never be able to buy anything!!" It all fell on deaf ears after all I was driving and I say I want to SHOP !
We parked eventually and joined the masses of people heading for the mall now I only managed to buy a tommy hilifiger jacket and some bits of bobs for Keira. Wayne and the boys however were much more successful Wayne had a bag of stuff from adidias store and each of them had a jacket and Ben had even bought himself some new trainers !!
We got back to the car at Midday on the dot and the boys were adamant that was enough shopping for today !! Sorry boys we had to go back to Wal mart for milk and bits and bobs - cue even more groaning and moaning about how whenever we go to walmart we are in their hours
Now Walmart was heaving it seems black friday impacts every single store ! Outside the main doors was a really strange little man singing christmas carols - badly- so bad in fact that i had to bite my cheeks so I didnt laugh out loud. As we passed him the kids joined in with the singing prompting him to follow us into store! I was genuinly scared that this strange little man was going to follow us all the way round walmart when he was distracted by a member of staff !!PHEW Im still not sure if he was meant to be there, if there is a hidden camera show we were part of or if the man just decided to spread christmas cheer !!
As we got back to the villa a storm was brewing and by the time id finished cooking dinner it was hammering it down !! I was still feeling a bit rough and although I was trying not to let onto everyone I did decide it was time for a nap ! Surprisingly Keira and the boys came with me. A few hours later we were awake and the rain had stopped !! RESULT !!
We now had to decide what we were going to do for the evening and wayne mentioned the possibility of trying the Kitchen Sink ! Pegasus and family had talked him into accepting a challenge to eat the lot betweeen the 6 of us and he didnt want to not rise to the challenge. I had to admit I was still feeling rough and Ice cream wasnt really something I would look forward to eating. Wayne then said " Forget it then Im only doing the kitchen sink if I dont have to carry you lightweights!! We all eat our fair share when we do it !!"
Cameron looked straight at him hands on hips and said " You have never carried me!! You carried Daniel when he was asleep in the car but you never carried me !!"
I laughed so hard as he huffed at his dad at the mere idea that wayne would ever carry him
Anyway after a good laugh we decided to go to downtown Disney for the evening! We have never been to Downtown Disney at night so it was going to be an experience.
I loved driving under the disney arch at night its all lit up inviting you in!
At downtown Disney Keira was so excited at everything that lit up and it was lovely to see her so happy at the simpliest of things.
The boys were in 7th Heaven in ridemakerz looking at all the supercars I guess it was payback for the shopping trip I made them do earlier in the day but really isnt one car very much like the next ??
We eventually got out of the car showroom and made it out of pleasure island and across the bridge.At this sight Keira jumped out of her pushchair with excitement ...
She shouted " Look Look Look its the moon !!"
" err no Darling Disney are good but they not quite mastered how to get advertising on the moon yet !!"
Just over the bridge was a living statue kind of lost on my kids, even when she touched them when they posed for a photo they didnt notice that she had moved !! The crowd laughed as they were oblivious to the fact they had been touched by a statue! Cam even commented on our next visit to DTD that they had took the statue away !!
On the stage area a kids dance party was going strong and we stopped so that keira could join in. Whilst sitting there a competion started between 4 couples of parent and child there was a british man with his little girl who was only 2 and was desperate to get off his lap and back into her pushchair. Now this guy was so funny they had him dancing to the spice girls in front of a ever growing crowd and he really gave it some welly! At one point I was convinced it was scary spice in disguise !! He won and deserved to win !! (if you are by any chance a disser I applaud you as we were in hysterics at your dancing ability !!)
As we left the party we saw Santas chalet and it was open !! It is the most amazing chalet ever and although the wait time was around 40 mins it was well worth the wait. Santa was so gentle with the kids and took the time to speak to them all about what they would like for christmas and if they had been good it really was magical and I managed to resist the urge to jump in and tell him id been a good girl !! I really did think he was THE real Santa.
I was however a little sad to see Ben point blank refuse to even play along with the whole Santa thing and he stood way out of the way a sign he really is growing up !!
It was getting late so we decided to retreat back to the villa! I said we were taking the boat back to the car as we never been on the boat and I was determined to do new things this trip.
Now Ben has a fear of boats in Florida after we took him on the jaws ride when he was 4 and he sat right by where the shark attacks the boat!! Scarred for life poor lad !!
So we get on the boat and the driver misses his gear and the boat lunges forward both me and wayne Shout "SHARK!" at which Ben jumps out of his seat much to the amusement of the entire boat.
When we get home we turn round to see all the kids fast asleep in the car, Keira remained asleep until next morning !! I couldnt resist taking this picture of a very tired princess being carried to bed!!

Another great day and well done facing black Friday...I would have cried with how busy you wrote is was.The living statue looks so realistic, even I would have been fooled. Looking forward to day 6
