We've finally cracked, and told the kids about Christmas...

.. we were trying to keep them unaware til the last minute and maximise the effect, but it's got too hard to keep quiet (cos we're excited too!) and they were starting to ask awkward questions about xmas generally... and anytime soon they (DD11, DS9) would have been bound to notice the cases etc descend from the attic!

Anyway, they were slightly happy... I'll rephrase that, they WENT WILD!! Couldn't get them to bed until 1000 + !! ..and now they can help maintain the excitement by joining in the planning! Can't wait! Only 5 weeks now!!

I could never keep a trip a secret. I'm the one who is most excited, and I need to tell EVERYONE when I'm going.

Mind you, when I told my DDS we were going back next year, they were quite cool. I suppose as it's "next year" they can't get their heads around that time frame!!!

At least now you can be excited out in the open, and not have to be a closet planner.

And you can say that because you are taking them to WDW, they shouldn't expect a lot of presents.

Like that would work!!!
