We've FALLen for WDW...An October 2010 PTR! New 10/14 TR Link Added

Aww, jealous of your Disneymoon. What a great trip!

Nice dining choices too. Love Pizza Planet. hehe And I really want to get a sundae from Beaches and Cream!

Your dining choices look delicous! I so want to try LeCellier and Cali Grill. Hopefully next time!

Your honeymoon looks great too - isn't it funny what we did before we knew of the DIS?? It makes me wonder how "regular" people do it. :)

What a fun Disneymoon report! I am getting dining ideas from you. The pics are great too!

Please feel free to take ideas from me. I would never have thought of going to some of these restaurants if it weren't for the DIS. On our honeymoon, I almost booked Le Cellier but decided against it, that was pre-DIS. :headache:

Lol, yes we do tend to live vicariously throuhg our fellow Disers when we read their dining reviews. Its fun though :teeth:

Your Disneymoon looked wonderful, apart from the whole baggage fiasco. I love how you got a message of congrats from those CM's on the boat. V cool :goodvibes

It definitely has become one of my favorite hobbies, although it does make it more difficult to wait for our trip!

It was such a wonderful trip, words can't describe it. :) We just felt so special because everywhere we were going we were getting recognized and congratulations! :wizard:

Thanks. :) I'm so happy I have such a great DH that will go to Disney willingly with me. He was even nice enough to reassure me that we are making the right choice to go to Disney again the other night. :lovestruc

I am so very excited to get a sundae from Beaches & Cream & I think DH will love the burgers.

Crystal Palace breakfast, Le Cellier, and Cali Grill have to be the places I am most excited to try this time. Although, I really want to try all of them, especially our favorites!

 about the "regular" people. I was such an amateur, missing out on the amazing restaurants out there! :sad2:

Disneymoon Scrapbooking Pictures

I thought that since I just finished posting pictures from our Disneymoon, I would post pictures of my scrapbooking pages from our Disneymoon. This is the first album that I was able to use the Cricut for as I got it for Christmas and got bit by the scrapbooking bug when my neighbor and I discovered we both enjoyed scrapbooking!

I really wish I could do scrapbooking for other people as my job but with the economy being the way it is, I just don't see myself making very much money doing so. Oh, well!

Cool scrapbooks, they do look like lots of fun :)

Love your scrapbook pages!

Your honeymoon looked wonderful! I love POFQ, what did you guys think of it?

I had to laugh about the sparkling water- I hate that stuff!!

Great scrapbook photos!

Thanks! :) I love to scrapbook!

Cool scrapbooks, they do look like lots of fun :)

They are lots of fun but also a lot of work, you really have to be in the mood to do it!

Your scrapbook is beautiful!! :thumbsup2

Thank you! I really enjoy being crafty and making handmade things. We made our own invitations for our wedding even. Tomorrow I am making invitations for my DDad's 50th birthday party! Tonight I helped my future sis-in-law make her invitations for their wedding in June!

Love your scrapbook pages!

We enjoyed POFQ, although, we didn't enjoy our room specifically the bathroom, we somehow ended up with an accessible room so the shower was NOT fun. I had to duck underneath the shower head. No fun. :sad2:

Go ahead and laugh, because I do too! :thumbsup2

hello! I have been offline the last few weeks (well, not on DIS) so I am catching up. great bathroom remodel--love the color.

I agree the hefty discount/free dining would be a great deal. There are so many rumors running rampant across the threads that I have stopped reading them because they are just not worth the stress. I hope the fall promotions will be released in May. We are debating on taking the money we save and put it on a gift card for the extra expenses. Especially if the fall promotions are not released until AFTER the 45 day mark for us. I think the likelihood of this happening is slim to none but you never know. Have you looked for ways to trim the budget? For instance, we are working really hard not to eat out but once a week if that. We use to eat out much more often but it was not good for the budget line or our waist sizes. :) If you rent movies, buy books have you consider using a local library? We dropped our Netflix because we were not using it enough. We have also switched car insurance companies, homeowners and cable company. While it does not seem like much, and it may not feel worth the hassle, these little changes really add up. Great job saving what you have!! Especially with two trips and an anniversary.

Love the pictures that accompanied the ADR choices. Great choices!

What a fun Disneymoon--TFS the pictures and memories. Wonderful scrapbook album!! Have you looked into selling on Etsy or local craft fairs? It could be a way to test the waters.

Hi there! Welcome back on. :)

We made a bad habit while DH and I were dating of eating out frequently. It was about 3-4 times a week just for dinner. I think it was because we didn't like to be on our parents' schedule of eating dinner. :confused3 When I worked at a daycare and had my 30 min. lunch break I bought lunch and that was between 3-5 days a week! This month our goal is none of our own money spent on eating out. So far we're successful! :)

We downgraded our cellphone, cable, and home phone bill about 6 months ago when I took my new, lower paying position. We use redbox to rent movies, I don't know if you've heard of it, but it's $1 for a 24 hour rental (we go to the local Jewel and there is a kiosk there). I used to buy a stack of books at least 6 times a year and now it's 0 because the library is only a 5 minute drive away. Our bills are about as low as possible because we really are on a tight budget. DH is finishing up going to school for his MBA in December and right around then he will be hitting the job market hard. This is such an amazing learning experience for us because we are realizing how much money we DON'T NEED to be happy. :) All of our extra money now is going toward our Vegas trip and then as soon as that is over it will be saved for Disney. :thumbsup2

FD would be so amazing but I would also be happy with a hefty room discount. We would use the extra money to put towards our expenses for the trip. :)

Before I begin using Etsy or signing up for a local craft fair I want to have a few different scrapbook albums made to have samples (if someone is interested in me creating an album) and I want to have a big stock of cards and such. Some days the kids I babysit suck all of my energy out me and I just come home and want to make dinner and relax!

Making the ADRs

Okay, so I know I should have posted on the day I made ADR’s but I have a reason for that…

I was having a really hard time grasping the fact that we weren’t really getting a “relaxing” vacation in this year…so I was even considering canceling the WDW Trip to book a trip to Hawaii or Jamaica. (I could get a week in each for around the same price as the WDW Trip would cost us.) Well, after sitting on that for a couple of days, I decided to sit down and try to come up with a plan for WDW that would allow us to sleep in some days and just take it easier. Well, then the thought that we could cut our WDW trip short and go to Clearwater for a couple of days started going through my mind, so then I priced that. That would involve renting a car, downgrading to a value, and upgrading to the DxDP. The price would be pretty similar to a week spent in WDW at a moderate with a trip to Universal. In the end, I decided I didn’t want the hassle of renting a car as that would guarantee at least one argument about directions EVEN if we had a GPS (which to be honest, we never go anywhere long distance without one). Are you still following? I know it’s confusing. BUT-in the end we decided to stay at WDW the entire week, skip out on Universal, and make our trip a little bit more laid back. I love our plan now.

When I called early Monday morning (because I wasn’t entering in my trip confirmation number in the correct spot to make the ADR’s online) I was able to get EVERY single ADR I wanted for right around the times I wanted! The first one I had the very friend CM make was Le Cellier and she was “Oh, that’s a hard one.” I felt grrrrrrrrrreat at that point. However, we got the EXACT time I requested.

So...if you noticed there are definitely some differences in what ADRs I posted that I wanted to make and what I actually made.

There is NO San Angel or Sci-Fi. We are hoping to visit "The Cave" on our Food & Wine Festival day so that replaces San Angel. We are going to MM instead of Sci-Fi for dinner. We added Narcoossee's, which I am very excited about. Obviously the budget I planned for is a little different now, but I think it will still come out to be about the same. :)

I think you made a good choice to slow things down. You guys will enjoy yourselves so much more if you get some R&R too. :thumbsup2

I like the slow itinerary, along with all the late nights and "no alarm" mornings!

I agree! I don't think I will miss the beach as much with this new itinerary. Although, now I have to worry about hurricanes and tropical storms as an article just showed up on our email home page abour the increased probability this season! :sad2:

Love the new ADR's--you did good. :goodvibes

Thanks! I am really looking forward to it! :)

That is definitely more of our vacation style. We are not early risers! DH is a little more than I am but if given the choice I would sleep in until 9am if not 10am every most mornings!

Everything sounds great and congrats on getting all the times and ADR's that you wanted :thumbsup2

I think your trip looks nice and restful! Love your ADR choices you made. You have some great choices on your list. :goodvibes
