We've created monsters!

My parents live one hour north of Orlando and were avid Disney HATERS. They only went to the parks when forced by visiting relatives, usually during peak holiday travel periods and then only went to WDW on day visits. This made for a very hectic stressful trip.

Well, we recently went down during off season and dragged them over to WDW for 4 days, stayed at AKL concierge and they had a BLAST!

No crowds, no traffic, free room - They were in hog heaven.

Well now they cannot wait to go again in April (we have a 2 bedroom DVC villa reserved for 9 nights). They purchased Florida resident season passes and my mom is shopping all the local thrift shops buying Disney clothes so we will all be dressed in Disney when we visit!

Can you believe it? My dad says he is going to try his AKL concierge key to see if it still works. He LOVED AKL. He will probably get us kicked out of the World.

To top it off, they are now thinking about selling their house and moving closer to Orlando and my dad wants to WORK at Disney. They say it's because it is "so much warmer in Orlando" but I know they have caught the fever.

Anyway, it is possible to convert Disney haters, but be careful what you wish for. I have a feeling I will never get a peaceful, relaxing Disney vacation ever again.

Thats great!!! Now its time to work on my DBF!!!! He grew up in Palm Beach and said that he is bored of Disney because he went there to much when he was a kid!!! He hasn't even been to Animal Kingdom yet....but all the begging has still kept me in Colorado!!! Some day he will get there and hopefully be as addicted to Disney as me!!!
